Meandeck Open -- October 23, 2011 -- Results (Columbus, Ohio)

Because the bulk of the Cleveland crew (Jerry Yang, Mark Trogdon) and the Moore Bros. didn't show, we had a lighter than usual crowd.   Also, where have the Kentucky folks been?  

Props to the folks who came from Michigan.   Just under 16 players meant we had 4 rounds of swiss with a cut to top 4.  

The crowd was dense with good players, including 1/3 of the Waterbury Top 12 (Theo, Kevin and Myself), and 1/4 of the Waterbury Top 8 (Kevin and myself).

So Ninja of the Deep Hours is incredibly busted with Blightsteel right? Seems win more, IMO.
Seriously though these Meandeck Opens always have so much blue!! I love it. Although I am also a little frightened by the number of Mindbreaks and Flusterstorms. Congrats to top 4.

Ninja actually is very good with snapcasters.  Let you resuse a snapcaster, and thus reuse a counter/broken spell, plus getting a draw, and 2 damage for 2 mana is quite nice.
