Here's the info:
What:
N.Y.S.E. Lite $10, 15 proxy, non-sanctioned Vintage tournament
Prize Structure:
1st: $60 credit (at 8 entrants) 2nd: $20 credit (at 8 entrants)
An additional $10 in credit will be added for every additional entry fee. Depot has a wide variety of Vintage, Legacy, Modern and Standard singles on hand, so it's a solid prize.
Where:
The Comicbook Depot 2847 Jerusalem Avenue Wantagh, NY 11793-2016 (516) 221-9337
When:
Sunday, October 14th 12pm registration, 1pm start
Depot has a tremendous Vintage collection, as Samite Healer has an incredible amount that is on sale in the store. Credit cannot be used on these cards, but if you're in need of anything before the tournament, you should definitely head down and check out the singles.

Glad to see it. Blue masters Tom Dixon and Mike Egan took down the last one; you may have to go through them in order to take it down.

So I'm going, but I don't think I'm going to be able to play anymore. Should still be a good time though...
Who else am I seeing this weekend?
EDIT: It seems as though a former World Champ may be in attendance...

I would have liked to make it out to this, but I can't commit to two days out of town. I will already be on Long Island on Saturday.
Hope this turns out to be a great event!
I'll have to make one of these sometime soon.
With what kind of regularity are these generally held?

Usually once a month. I may try to run two in November, since there won't be a N.Y. event in November (the last N.Y. event will be on 12/1).
