Sadly, I will be working that weekend, and unable to attend Top Deck Games The Council Open#6 at The Players Guild.  Good luck to all the competitors and have fun!

Nice catch, my mistake, Shawn.  Regardless of where the event is, I am stuck working that weekend.

Come on Shawn. You need to think of a new name for these things.

Fish, is Team PSU making an appearance? Hash tags man? This isn't Twitter.

Rob: I'm not going to change the name of an event half way through the year? Council has been disbanded, but this is still tribute to all the members who helped each other grow.

Jon: Sorry to hear that.

Regarding Thecheese: somebody help this guy get here?

Josh: looking like a mox, but I will be confirming tomorrow and updating the page.

Justin: there actually may be.

I don't think I've ever asked someone, "Are you going to the Council Open on <insert date>?" Nor do I normally ask if someone is going to Top Deck Games or the Brothers Grimm. I'll ask if they're going to Bloomsburg or Westmont or Selden most of the time. In my calendar, I'll mark the events down by town name only. I guess it's just me, but I don't associate events with the store name or specific title. 'Vintage in Bloomsburg on <insert date>' would suffice for me.

I highly doubt that anyone would become confused if you changed the name regardless of how far it is into the year.

And I certainly don't have any problem with you paying respect to TSC.

My posts in your last two tournament announcement threads about the event title were more of an attempt to poke at fun at what I perceived was your laziness. I don't care what you call it. You could name it 'Slaughter Smurfs Open' for all I care. I was trying to poke fun and thanks to computer mediated communication, it was lost in translation.

In my opinion, if it's worth anything, the best way you could pay tribute to TSC is have Brandon mod cards to be Star Wars themed that could be handed out as (door) prizes.

I do the same Rob...I call it bloomsburg, NY, Coss event, blue bell, etc. Coss for whatever reason I use his last name to tell me what event it is. Other then that its town or state lol

Oh well. For what it is worth. I prefer the name the way it is for the time being. All other pertinent information regarding the store and its location is still provided.

As far as altered door prizes. I'm not sure what the possibility of this is. But it can be mentioned.

Slaughter smurfs open sounds fantastic ! .... For the record we all call it Bloom . Coss is still bluebell or New Jersey . New York is New York. I think the only events that get a title are the grudge matches . Call it what ya want . Call it what your teammates want. In the end thanks for holding the events .
I think you should have Brandon do a smurf alter for like ninth or a door prize . How about a Smurf Vader?

I predict that someone who is currently enrolled at Penn State will win. I'll come in 10th and miss on breakers.
