In reading Steve Menendian's article "So Many Insane Plays - Grow 2K13 Primer and Tournament Report", I began thinking of how to use a "time walk-based" gush shell with regrowth. The idea is to take more turns by recycling time walk and to win with creatures or with jace. Extra turns are amazing in a grow deck: extra land drops means extra gush activations, jace activations, hits with trygon predator, etc. This plan avoids the reliance on storm and on playing time vault/key.

Win conditions:
2 Young Pyromancer
2 Jace, the mind scupltor
2 Trygon Predator

Engine:
4 Gush
4 Regrowth
1 Timetwister
1 Time walk
1 Fastbond
1 Merchant Scroll
1 Mystical Tutor
1 Yawgmoth's Will
1 Demonic Tutor
1 Vampiric Tutor
1 Brainstorm
1 Ancestral Recall
4 Preordain
1 Ponder

Disruption:
4 Force of will
3 Mental Misstep
3 Thought Seize

Mana:
5 Moxen
1 Black Lotus
1 Island
2 Underground Sea
2 Tropical Island
2 Volcanic Island
4 Polluted Delta
3 Misty Rainforest

Sideboard:
4 Steel Sabotage
2 Ancient Grudge
1 Young Pyromancer
1 Mental Misstep
4 Ravenous Trap
3 Surgical Extraction

With a deck designed to recur Time Walk you seem to have very little to actually find the time walk in the first place. The usual usupects are there (DT/VT/MT) but I would expect to see Imperial Seal and maybe even a muddle the mixture to ensure finding the time walk.

I'd swap 3 seize for 3 Muddle the Mixture.  They are hard counters, pitchable to force, and uncounterable tutors for time walk or regrowth or young pyromancer.  Can't beat that.  Other than that, BEST....DECK....EVER!

I had been working on an idea similar to this a while back. I used Quirion Dryad since the Pyromancer hadn't been spoiled yet. It actually started as a way to try to abuse Temporal Mastery. It had Eternal Witness as a regrowth effect that could also attack during your extra turns, and had 1 Insidious Dreams to set up repeated Temporal Masteries. It was pretty...unrefined, but the potential is definitely there. Insidious dreams was pretty sick for setting up multiple turns, and could work with just Regrowth and Time walk. That would net you 2 tokens per extra turn instead of just one like with Mastery. I think Lotus Cobra could be good to generate more mana and attack.

If 4 Regrowths are good, would you play with 5? 8? 12? Noxious revival/Treasured Find (the BG Regrowth from RTR) would fit the bill, as would Eternal Witness (who combos nicely with Jace 2.0)

I had a deck sort of similar to this pre-2008 banning of brainstorm but instead of using regrowth I was using eternal witness with oath of druids.  One oath almost always lead to infinite recursion of time walk with witnesses.  The deck required that you had enough tutors to attempt to guarantee you hit time walk or a tutor for it with one oath activation, after that you need a sac outlet for the witnesses to get them back into your yard so that they recur with gaea's blessing. cabal therapies work the first few times but (now that development doesn't go for exiled cards) you run out so there needs to be one repeatable way to bin them.  Also, noxious revival is amazing imo, especially with gush.  The infi time walk concept is the same but I suppose it's ultimately a completely different archetype.
