Here's the announcement:
http://www.wizards.com/Magic/Magazine/Article.aspx?x=mtg/daily/feature/244b2

Always nice to see some housekeeping done and a little attention paid to the format. Does it have any other significance though? Does it make Gush a thing again, helping you chain them together ā la Merchant Scroll? I guess we'll find soon enough...

Iīm happy to see the DCI is trying to follow the approach to open the list as much as possible. We donīt know the implications of this yet.

However, what we do know is that Graveyard centric strategies can lead to graveyard maindeck hate and thus try to move dredge out of the format a little bit.

I donīt really like the comment they make on the "alternatives":

Since then, alternatives such as Yawgmoth's Will and Snapcaster Mage have been printed, and Regrowth has seen little play.

As you know both will only help you replay the card one time whilst chaining Regrowths can lead to some brokeness.

Gush seems the first beneficiary of the change. However, we will have to see how it affects Gush decklists which will be heading much more towards comboish approaches. Keep your Imperial seals as Fastbond will be more important than ever to be found Smile

I guess Intution will also be heavily played again pairing Regrowth.

Now that Burning is also a 4 of, maybe some 4 Burning, 3 Regrowth decklists can appear. Maybe with Life from the Loam and LD approaches. Creativity will be on the raise at least during the first months after the announcement, which is also good for the format.
