Sanctioned Vintage makes it's triumphant return on July 8th at Scholars, the home of the longest running weekly Vintage series anywhere. After successfully adding an unpowered prize*, our next goal is to grow this event. Extra players directly increase the prize pool, so the more the merrier. When we start approaching 16 players, we're looking at $100+ in CASH for first place, or 140+ in store credit. Combine that with the highest unpowered finish, and you're talking some insane EV!
The highest finishing Unpowered Deck* will receive a prize, so the value is insane. Last time, we had one unpowered deck, so he was GUARANTEED to make his entry fee back, and he was one game away from making the finals (Where he was likely the favorite.) If you want to take part in a hugely fun and unique Vintage event, but don't have power, go ahead and take your Legacy deck, makes some tweeks and have a blast.
