Given the fact that it´s the last weekend of August and a lot of people are still on vacation (the beach is a nice holiday spot in Catalunya) and that the tournament was 1 hour drive from Barcelona, we had a good attendance today with 53 players.
6 Rounds, 1 hour luch break, and cut to top8. Lots of fun and crazy stuff going on as always in the LCV.
Everyone was expecting more or less the appeareance of Young Pyromancer decks, as two of them top8ed @ the last LCV. Some of them were seen on the tables, but none made it into top8. Maybe it´s too much hyped, maybe it´s not that much played. We will have to see.
Lots of BUGs, RUGs, Workshops, old players returning from oblivion (if you love the format you will never be able to leave, and you know it
), Tolarian Belcher decks, yes, plural, two of them. Their stories are the best!
Two cards shine in the top8 decklists of this month: Snapcaster Mage (the guy was played in every non MUD deck in the top8) and Wasteland (not surprisingly).
