Path of Exile is a free to play Action RPG for the PC, with a new expansion being released on the 20th of Aug. If you are worried that having not played before will be a detriment, the expansion will start new leagues. These new leagues start everyone at level one, with no preexisting items. Everyone in the new leagues starts at the same place, gear-wise. I am wondering if there is anyone on these forums that plays or is interested in playing. I usually play in the Standard/SC league, but have a few characters in Hardcore/HC league for the challenges. I will do my best to answer any questions here, and will post some links below where more information can be found. My IGN is ChronoExile |

I have played Path of Exile since closed beta. My IGN is Hrishi. I usually tend to play the HC challenge league but I do make a character on the SC challenge league too. Add me if you'd like to maps with me sometime! (I designed Mind over Matter and Cloak of Defiance  ) |

I actually finished 2nd on the Hardcore ladder for the Onslaught Season @ lvl 96, was very close to first but my buddy won it ^^ ( http://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/408047 ) I miss my shadow, pretty sure everything has been nerfed since then but this was the build I made from scratch : http://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/525943My gear was pretty insane which made it possible, I couldn't really die on that character ( i wish i recorded more than just an easy gorge clear for the video  http://www.twitch.tv/cooopes/c/2969581 ) Ok ok, enough of my reminiscing, i love the hell out of that game though. I have been itching to play at the start of a new hardcore league again, maybe i'll jump back in it if i have time, unfortunately my classes start late august though |

I've played this as well for a few month, but not on a competitive level. I can only suggest to try it out if you like Diablo style games - It's pretty fun gameplay and I really liked the skill tree. If I didn't get pulled into an MMORPG again (The Secret World, you so NEED to check it out!) I'd probably still be playing this!

The first pass at the properties of the Hardcore Challenge league should be out the end of the week. As should the new passive tree. |

Messaged a few old buddies, pretty sure I'm going to be giving this a go on the Hardcore leagues. Super pumped.
Pretty sure I'm going to be rolling an MF summoner for this league.

Pretty sure I'm going to be rolling an MF summoner for this league.
Went for about 15 hours straight with a nice party, I just died at around lvl 60 which is ~30th on the ladder to Vaal lightning. Fun league, fun times, not 100% sure I'll level again but I definitely got the enjoyment I was craving out of a new league experience. Love that rush. |
