The followup is coming along well, and I will hopefully have it ready in the next couple weeks. Between the original primer and the followup I will have written close to 50 pages on the Madness archetype, and it's been a lot of hard work so I hope you all enjoy it. This time around I had a few people helping me with testing, who will be duly acknowledged in the followup.
I don't want to say a LOT about the deck right now so as to avoid stealing my own thunder
, but my testing has convinced me that while Madness is less powerful in its own right without 4 LEDs, it is just as good, if not better, against the rest of the format even with only 1 LED. I was really surprised and thought extensive changes would need to be made, but after trying many different cards and ideas we came almost full circle to a build very similar to the "Virtual Insanity" list presented in the original primer. The main changes have come in the SB to reflect the different metagame.
