For reference,
ELI KASSIS
3rd Place (TMD Open)

4 Chalice of the Void
4 Force of Will

3 Mind Slaver
4 Goblin Welder

1 Pentavus
1 Karn Silver Golem

1 Time Walk
2 Cunning Wish

1 Windfall
1 Timetwister
1 Wheel of Fortune
1 Memory Jar
1 Ancestral Recall
1 Fact or Fiction
4 Thirst for Knowledge

1 Tinker

1 Mana Crypt
1 Black Lotus
5 Moxen
1 Sol Ring
1 Mana Vault
1 Grim Monolith
3 Gilded Lotus
1 Tolarian Academy
1 City of Traitors
2 Ancient Tomb
4 Mishra's Workshop
4 Shivan Reef
4 Volcanic Island

SB (Wish):

1 Stifle
1 Mystical Tutor
1 Blue Elemental Blast
2 Fire/Ice
4 Red Elemental Blast
2 Rack and Ruin

Main 'style' Differences with Toad-Slavery:

- Blood Moon
+ Cunning Wish

Additions from Darksteel:
One of the most important cards in Slavery is Thirst for Knowledge, and Darksteel provides us with a very similar card,

Pulse of the Grid
1UU
Instant
Draw two cards, then discard a card from your hand. Then, if an opponent has more cards in hand than you, return Pulse of the Grid to owner's hand.

The casting cost at first sight is problematic, because of the UU, but with so many 'lotuses' it doesn´t matter.
It could replace the Fact or Fiction and the Windfall

Mycosynth Lattice
6
Artifact
All permanents are artifacts in addition to their other types.
All cards that aren't in play, spells, and permanents are colorless.
Players may spend mana as though it were mana of any color.

I know Toad is a great defender of the function of BloodMoon in 'his' deck, but the Lattice would solve a lot of games and you would 'always' wreck opponent hand in his Wink  turn

Edit: The cards in your hand are not considered as artifacts when played, so Lattice don´t work with Workshops  Confused

4 Chalice of the Void

workshop can still only cast spells that are artifacts, Lattice makes everything that is not in play "colourless" not artifact.

Whether this works or not it brings up a new abuse point.  Welder and Latice can be quite evil.  You can abuse all kinds of things that you normally couldnt do.  I am interested to see what becomes of the lattice.

What are the last four cards of the sideboard in the first list?

I love this deck, it closely resembles that of Rozetta's and I was gonna edit his but hey, this just showed up!  Smile Anyways, my list is the same as ur second one except I replaced the lattices with 2 Future Sight, I love the Sight, and it usually makes your turns sooo much better and your board control grows immensely. Pulse of the Grid is ok, I'm thinking of better draw cards, maybe even ak, or what was in those spots before, but for now it looks ok. For your second list, is there a sb? I'm wondering what to put into the sb.

With this deck you usually don´t play your turns, play the opponent ones...
You only play turns until you find the Pentavus to go infinite.

ak

Accumulated Knowledge?
Don´t think so, you draw 1-2-3 cards with them, and with the Pulses you always draw 3

The sideboard depends on the metagame, as with the 2nd version you don´t play with Wishes

Perhaps I'm misunderstanding Mycosynth Lattice, but aren't your Forces dead?  You can't remove a blue card from a hand full of colorless ones.

In a Slavery deck the Force of Wills are a prevention spell, you don´t play control with this deck.
Anyway, you could always do some tricks with the welder to play de FOW´s.

I won't comment the build because I don't feel like doing it now, but I wanted to say Slavery IS a Control deck. That's all for now  Rolling Eyes

@Toad

Ummm...
I don´t know, I played the version with the ManaDrains and Fire/Ice and then you played more controllish (slowly).
With your version, it´s more combo-oriented, isn´t it?. You´re gaining some (little) turns with Moons and CotV to slow down a bit the game, but it´s only that, trying to slow down 1-2 turns and at the same time try to cast the Mindslavers as fast as possible, isn´t it?

With the ManaDrain version you could afford more turns, with this version I don´t think so.

Anyway, with the inclusion of Mycosynth Lattice instead of the Blood Moons the deck is turning another way...

Am I missing something or doesn't Grid draw 2 then you discard 1? Also, How do you go infinite with Pentavus? And I think I'm going back to the draw sevens and FoF.

The Pentavus can create a bunch of tokens, and then be cycled out and back in with welders refreshing the counters. You get an unending supply of artifacts to weld out to weld the slaver in.

With Mycosynth Lattice you could abuse Second Chance with Goblin Welder and take infinite turns. The only condition is you have to be at five life. Throw in Form of the Dragon and you'd not only be at five life but you also have a kill card. I know it seems a little jankey but it does work.

The cards in your graveyard are NOT artifacts, only the cards in play.
