I think Skullclamp would make a perfect fit in any Buried Alive deck. Here's a list of some of the creatures it would run.

Nether Shadow
Ashen Ghoul
Krovikan Horror
Abyssal Gatekeeper

All these creatures have great synergy with Skullclamp. All you do is attack then equip during your second main phase to draw  two cards. Your creatures then go to the graveyard only to return to play the very next turn. The last card I mentioned, Abyssal Gatekeeper, is great with Skullclamp because it has a triggered ability when it goes to the graveyard. Each player sacrifices a creature when it hits the 'yard. That and drawing two cards is gravy. If anyone thinks that a Buried Alive deck can make it in the Type 1 metagame please post your comments and suggestions. Here's a basic decklist.

1 Mox Jet
1 Black Lotus
1 Sol Ring
1 Lotus Petal
1 Mox Ruby
1 Chrome Mox
4 Dark Ritual
4 Duress
3 Buried Alive
4 Bazaar of Baghdad
3 Abyssal Gatekeeper
4 Ashen Ghoul
4 Nether Shadow
3 Squee, Goblin Nabob
4 Fiery Temper
3 Skullclamp
4 Bloodstained Mire
1 Polluted Delta
4 Wasteland
1 Strip Mine
4 Badlands
4 Swamp

This decklist includes Squee which is great with Skullclamp. I also have Bazaars in the deck which also have synergy with Squee. I added Fiery Temper in the deck because of the Baazars. Tell me what you think of this decklist. Is it good, bad, why and does it have a chance in the Type 1 metagame.

EDIT: -1 Skullclamp, -1 Abyssal Gatekeeper,-1 Squee, Goblin Nabob, -1 Buried Alive, +4 Duress.

I'm not sure if it can, but adding Anger to Buried Alive would definitely be a plus.  Having your creatures come back to life with haste is a definite bonus.  A deck like this could also stand to abuse Bazaars of Baghdad, since it is beneficial to dump your creatures in the graveyard.

Unfortuneately, I've always found the old Buried Alive decks to be kind of slow, so if you could speed it up some how it would be much better.  If you can't make it faster, perhaps disruption in the form of Duress and Cabal Therapy (which has good synergy with recurring creatures) would buy you the time to win.

I don't need Anger because half the creatures in the deck already have haste.
