Well, if things keep going like this I should be playing zherbus' WW deck in no time

I have first made up Stars n' Stripes, which used 3 colors: blue, red and obviously white. According to spikeymikey trying to add too many answers to the deck only dillutes what it should be doing: be aggressive. That happened when I thought of using blue. I believe you were right about it

So I decided to strip the deck out of blue and in the end there was this:

3 mox monkey
4 order
4 savannah lions
4 soltari priest
4 white knight

1 wheel of fortune
4 chain lightning
4 lightning bolt
4 incinerate

3 tithe
3 seal of cleansing

1 black lotus
1 strip mine
2 city of brass
4 mishra's factory
4 battlefield forge
4 plateau
6 plains

SB:
3 dwarven miner
4 price of progress
4 null rod
4 swords to plowshares

Well, actually this is it's present incarnation, since the previous one had some flaws to it. The main changes were in the mana department.

I took out wastelands because everytime I drew them I was wishing they were something else! (well, actually I wished they were plains, but I've decided to test mishra's for the meanwhile). Wastelands are great, don't get me wrong, but those damn things always came at the wrong time, so I took them out.

There are two cities of brass instead of plains because I want to ensure I will always have the red mana I need to cast a spell.

I played a couple of jackal pups for a while, but they really weren't as good as I wished them to be, so they became +2 Orders. White knights are there instea of more orders because of... fire n' ice. Silly move? Perhaps, but I can afford being whimsy:)

The SB is pretty self explanatory.

Bla bla bla, hope you like it, bla bla bla, please tell me what you think, bla bla bla...

Tell me when You'd side in Dwarven Miners and when PoP. Having both in the sideboard seems strange. since you are aggro rather than aggro control Pop seems to make more sense. I'd add REB instead of Miner so you can fight blue better (And make no mistake control decks own WW).

You listed Lotus so I would assume Mox Pearl would also help.

LOL

Well short of including a tax/rack engine complete with warbeasts, undiscovered paradise, naming it Holy Tommy Gun, etc...

Here is a wacky idea.

Move the Miners from the SB to the maindeck, and move the seals from the maindeck to the SB.

Then -3 Shaman, +3 Null rod.

My reasoning is that there is really no reason you shouldn't be running null rod. You run Shaman in Holy Tommy Gun because they come out cheap and kill moxen, thus causing not only disruption but the nifty side effect of forcing them not to hold land back from land tax.

With the open slots in the SB (cut all 4 rods), I would add +4 Red Elemental Blast. I would THEN -4 Price of Progress and a lone swords, because I feel PoP is MAD weak in WW, and add +2 Pyroblast and +3 Blood Moon.

I would play with the 2 Jackal pups. WW's biggest downfall is a lack of good one drops. I would either add 2 Pups or 2 MoR.

I would play Tithe #4. Cut a city for this, cut the other one for an undiscovered. Not for B2B fear, but for less pingage. Also it can work better with Tithe.

Lastly, the Mishra's need to go. I can actually see these being ok in a WW/u with Meddling Mage, Mana Leak, and Teferi's response but...not here. So do this: -4 Factory, +2 Plains, +2 Wastelands. Opposing Mishra's can hurt, LoA, etc.

So...

If I wasn't gonna use Holy Tommy Gun, I would do it like this:

3 Dwarven Miner
4 Order of White Shield
4 Savannah Lions
2 Jackal Pup/Mother of Runes
2 White Knight/Order of Leitbur
4 Soltari Priest

1 wheel of fortune
4 chain lightning
4 lightning bolt
4 incinerate

3 Null Rod

4 tithe
1 black lotus
1 strip mine
2 Wasteland
1 Undiscovered Paradise
4 battlefield forge
4 plateau
8 plains

SB:
4 Red Elemental Blast
2 Pyroblast
3 Swords to Plowshares
3 Blood Moon
3 Seal of Cleansing

My thoughts...I think the strong point would be the miners maindeck. This deck should already kill Sligh and Suicide so ignoring them in favor of some sort of 5cControl strength might be a viable strategy.

I openly admit to Holy Tommy Gun being marginal at best against keeper, maybe the combination of maindeck rods and miners will improve this matchup?

Strangely this deck HASN'T been doing so well vs suicide. Not as well as we thought it should be:( So I have my (reasonable) doubts about it...

A couple of thoughts:

Do you really need 3 Mox Monkey and 3 Seal of Cleansing?  Wouldn't two of each work well?

Why no Balance?  I would think that Balance would be a no-brainer, unless I missed it on your list.

Your deck has no mid-game threats.  Sure, Mishra's can act as a mid-game threat, but Mishra's are easy to kill.  You need Cursed Scrolls.  Three or four Cursed Scrolls, with Tithe to fuel the mana demands of the Scrolls, would work very nicely.  The Scroll is such a great mid-game threat.  It's a beating against Keeper, especially if you can kill their Gorilla shaman with burn.  If you have two Scrolls in play and the mana to use them, it's game over.

I would also say that you probabally only need 8 direct damage spells, not 12, but I guess that's preference.

Good luck.

White Weenie should never ever run Balance.  What happens if your playing Keeper and all they have out is Mishra's and no Morphling yet and you have 5-6 creatures in play, and you Balance.  There goes your entire arsenal.

In that case, only the most inept of players would actually cast Balance.  Also, only the most inept of players would have 5-6 creatures in play at one time.  That's like saying that the Keeper player shoulndn't play Balance because it will decrease their hand size and kill their both of their Morphlings.

Anyway, when playing a deck like this, play one or two threats at a time.  Balance is a safty measure.

There is really no reason to not play Balance.

White weenie usually has a couple of creatures in play, and vs a control deck this means two creatures vs none. Sometimes it also happens that your opponent has less cards in hand than you have. What about then?

The decks vs which balance would be good are aggro decks. Sure it can take out Morphlings, but usually by the time the control player makes morph hit the table the WW player usually has at least a creature in play or the control player has the means to counter any threat against it.

Balance is also restricted, which makes it less reliable. I think balance is EXTREMELY overrated in White Weenie and is one of those cards that hurts more than it helps. Keep it to control and leave it out of aggro decks.

Of course that Balance can be good, VERY good, but it's too situational for me to rely on it when I could have something else to cast. Think of balance for White Weenie as demonic consultation for suicide black players;)

lol, my area is so screwy then, I have never seen a Balance in my area before and by turn 3 they just have a bunch of Shadows and Crusade's in play.  Sorry if that Balance remark was bad, as you can see I haven't been out of my area for a Type1 tourney (can't drive yet).  Shows how bad our area is for Type1, lol.

Well, at least they play type 1 there. Sometimes I think I'm the ONLY type 1 adept in Portugal.

Well, upon further testing I must say I'm quite surprised by the deck's results. It has been doing quite well so far. I won't say it consistently beats any deck, but I think I can say it can go head to head with keeper and suicide black and win (with more frequency than old White Weenie decks can). I'm not saying it's unbeatable, nor that it beats the sh!t out of keeper. I'm saying it's the best WW that I have played up to date vs keeper.

It has been having some problems with faster aggro decks, like the funker and stacker. An early rod can spell doom for either, although it's likely to lose game 1. After siding in seals and swords to plowshares it has much more chances of beating either.

Thanks zherbus, the deck is actually performing quite well now:)

Sometimes though I miss having mana, red mana when I need it. I may be having bad luck, but either way I'll probably add a city of brass or two. I'm thinking about taking the paradise if it ends up hurting more than it helps.
