The title says it all.  I'm trying to think of any instant-speed sweepers to sideboard in Keeper so I can Wish for it.  At first I thought to try Tremor or Nausea, but those are sorceries.  So far all that I've come up with is Psychotic Haze and Sick and Tired, but both of those are worse than Fire/Ice.  Can anyone think of a card that I'm missing?

The two storms: Firestorm and Starstorm (Onslaught); Faultline is another, although it might be inferior to Starstorm. Don't know about the double RR casting cost spells though.

Starstorm may find a spot in my sideboard once Onslaught comes out.  I'm not sure what I will cut for it though... Maybe the Edict ;|.

There is evacuation, but that doesnt kill things.

There is dwarven catapult, but that wont help vs stompy's high toughness creatures, but other than that it should do nicely.

It hurts gators and takes out shades (if tapped out) and zombies. Kills all of slighs creatures. But I dunno if its that great because of the high cost, but its good if you know you're going to have drain mana floating around or you are in a situation where paying 3-4 would be good.

Starstorm seems like it would be the best by far though after it comes out.

Shattering Pulse isn't a mass sweeper, but if its not there your crazy.  Zherbus schooled me in that department against TNT.

Too bad Rout isn't 5WW, less two if played a sorcery.

As long as it's the opponent's attack phase, sandstorm really isn't horrible.  It's just not much of a help against stompy.  At least the casting cost is easy.

Try Steam Blast (R2, 2 damage to all creatures and players) or Vengeful Dreams (WW, Discard X, remove X target attacking creatures from the game).  The 2nd one is probably not what Keeper wants because of the card disadvantage, but you can potentially toss excess Wastelands or something against a mono-colored aggro deck which would otherwise be dead cards.  The WW casting cost is probably the more limiting factor, tho.

It's looking like Steam Blast or Sandstorm, since I don't like the RR on Starstorm.

Waylay is another attack phase contender. It depends on what you face as although it is often worse than 2 to each creature, it can be used to do 6 to one creature, which is useful in these days of Negator, pumped Shades and fat artifacts. It is of course only a token response.....

Ray of Command is another even more janky idea, again trading killing power for utility. Not recommended but lots of style points (block your Negator with my Shade LOL)

(there was a double sandstorm card a while back {Hailstorm?}but I'm pretty sure it had a GG1 cc)\n\n

Not to sound like an ass or anything, but I just checked on apprentice, and Steam Blast is a sorcery.  Also, Starstorm is cool, but i think RR might be a little too hard to manage.

The some of the later german extended Trix decks had the IA Fire Covenant and put it to some good use. Would be as funny as Waylay to use on Negators but can also be used to fry multiple weenies iirc. Other than that, ever thought about ... Tangle??? Or even Constant Mist?

Hibernation should be banned.
Either that or errata Thran Lens to be an enchantment.  It could be BB for all I care.\n\n

Well somebody had to say it.  Looks like it's Sandstorm or Waylay.

Capsize should be in there.

The best instant board sweeper I can think of is Evacuation, but most type one decks will only lose 1-2 attack phases to it, so maybe a tangle would be better.

What does Starstorm do?

p.s. It's generally polite when referring to rarely used or not yet in print cards to give a description.

Whoops, my bad on the Steam Burst.  I wonder how many times I've misplayed it as an Instant in memory Magic...
