I put the decklists on www.Magic4You.nu in a nice layout.

Greetings,

Quote (Nevyn @ July 23 2002,12:50)I'm not. Most people don't get it until they see it. It does take a while, but it takes a while in ONE turn, so works quite nicely under tourney rules. Time Walk/Mountain Goat, for instance, would work less well (despite the brokenness of the Goat, one of the P11)
Don't forget, making certain plays in real life which take less than a second can often take 2-3 online. It's because of the stupid mouse. That's why in real life a kill for academy can take 5 minutes but recreating that same play online can take up to 15. Same goes for some other combo-engines.

damn, im playing V2.7 when my current deck is V2.9

Atleast im playing Combo in an aggro field.
I foresee Academy winning the whole thing, or maybe 1 of the only Keeper decks.
Too many Blood Moons for my liking though

ToC Decks, color-coded by card, organized by card type.. also, you may move your mouse over a card to see what it does.

I'm disappointed that the deck and player are posted.   When Redman mentioned posting the lists, I assumed it would be en masse with no player ID along with it just to get to know the metagame.   Now for each matchup everyone is going to have a print out of their opponents deck beside them.   Kind of ruins the surprise, the unknown factor.   I'm not complaining because of some tech I had that is revealed, my deck is a very pedestrian Suicide Black, it just seems like putting all the presents under the tree unwrapped.

All of us we have to thank Redman who is responsible for the whole tournament ( and of course  the people here in manadrain for their support).
I also have to admit that it would be better the decklists have been  posted here without sb at least the players name. Anyone of the participents for sure before his future match will check out his opponent decklist so the surprise factor does not exist. ( I have the squirrelcraft deck    which can be transformed to a sapphire oath   but now everyone will be expected it  )
Btw my first decklist was also a tubbies variant and at the very last moment I chose the squirrelcraft  ( over a black suicide ).
And a question.
I am very curious why no one seems to use kill switch over null rod?  It is far better against workshop's decks
although ineffective vs zorbs,masticore shooting.
The additional casting cost + activation cost of course is often lethal vs academy but academy decks are not so popular as the workshops decks (stacker etc)

Thanks! I'm glad I have the Edicts in my sideboard for stacker...

And jeek - damn man, you have too much time on your hands, and I thank you for it!

I also can't decide what's my favorite thing to see this tournament - the Enforcer deck and that u/w/b aggro-control deck are both really cool, but...TOMBSTONE STAIRWELL. My God, that is so cool. I want to see some wins off that.

Matt The Great, I am looking forward to piloting my Enforcer deck.  I appreciate the praise I have received for posting it - it is just so janky.

Please see my recent tourney report about it in the Vintage Forum.  Maybe this link will take you right to it:

Actually, I wrote a script to do most of the actual formatting for me. I just had to fix a "few" misspellings.

Perl rocks.

How come everyone underestimates the Pandeburst deck? It is an easy combo to force through and, unlike academy, allows room for a ton of control elements. Koen's Pburst deck is what a keeper deck would look like if it sided in the combo. It is more of a "combo-control" deck, sort of like what trix used to be. I have a feeling that without mono-blue in the field this deck will definitly have a shot at winning.

I let a script run over the decklists to count instances of each card: http://flaaten.net/ToC6cardcount.txt

Interesting numbers actually...

Ouch, 48 Masticores...  At least there's only 18 Zuran Orbs....  Sligh isn't going to get creamed that bad, I mean there's only more Stacker than anything else, that's not so bad, right?

95 Force Of Will

wait, 4 of those are mine, and 4 of those are from my compatriot's deck (Ocifer), so that leaves 87 opposing FoW's I have to deal with.

Razor, if you have AIM, AIM me at misterhankey1234 . I want to play you too since I am playing more or less the same thing Matt is and we have both been brainstorming the best design for Green Black.

Ok, some things don't seem quite right there....

Morphlings = gushes = mishra's workshops!

someone is playing 3 FoW....
and every single deck appears to contain a lotus   - 51 as lotus, 7 as solomoxen

and I love the horn-man deck. Go Dreadnaughts!

The sea of Stacker that I had been preparing for in the last 2 ToCs (I even had MD Moat in the last 2!) has finally arrived.  ph34r.

Whaddya know?   Looks like somebody decided to play Stacker 2.

I love the diversity of the field.   And we don't have to worry about mono-U taking home the trophy this time!  Woo-hoo!

thanks for the support, unfortunately i drew not only the worst matchup for my deck (void still makes everything cost 3 with Dream Halls), and the owner of thsi site, so I'm already out.

You're not out... it isn't single elimination. We are playing swiss rounds at the moment.
