The first game he gets out a early first turn Hyppie, but it didnt matter much, my hand was mostly empty with a 2nd turn Jar sitting on the board happily. He pulls a 2nd turn Shade. next turn i blow the jar, get a dreams.  Next turn i pull a pact into land, drop the land

Hrm, my Shade was 3rd turn, I believe... it never attacked. You killed me the turn after I played it. I got in two swings from the Hyppie, and that's about it. I really should have mulliganed that hand, but oh well. Hindsight, 20/20.. you know the story.

As a note for anyone who wants to post their game logs, simply pasting it into a .txt file and doing a Replace on "\par \cf1 " and replacing it with just a space will really clean up your reports.

You run draw sevens and Tolarian Academy.  Why not swap card drawers and more cheap artifact mana in those weird Dreams slots and kill with Stroke/Geyser?

Cooberp, do you think that Academy is superior to Dreams?  It is arguable that it isn't.  Besides, its not all about winning.

Dreams is just so darned stylish.

Often Lost, I noticed that you are using Tainted Pact in lieu of more suboptimal quasi-multi-drawers like Diminishing Returns, Winds of Change, or Scroll Rack.  Do you usually Pact for your next Draw-7?

I also question your mana-base as not all of the lands can provide black mana:

Have you considered a transformational SB versus your worst matchup ie.Control:
4 Phyrexian Negators (Bad for Control especially after they SB out all of their critter control!)
4 Red Elemental Blasts (Protect your Negator or your Combo)
2 Teferi's Response
1 Balance (Panic Button versus Aggro)

You might try a Sideboard something like:
2 Circle of Protection: Red (Not sure if required tho')
2 Pernicious Deed/or Powder Keg

Well, right now im playtesting with V3.0 (Sb is different, and +1 Abeyance MB among other things)
It runs 3 MisD in SB and it is extremely amazing.

I start goin into combo mode once I have enough mana, which is normaly around 3rd,4th turn. Even if I dont have a dreams in play, Ill still draw 7. And no, it doesnt run out of speed often, I mean I have 5 draw 7's, 1 Ancstrial, 2 Tutors, Regowth, and 3 tainted pacts, so its all in the mana. Also, Tolarian Academy is AWESOME n here. If you get it out great, if you dont, so be it.

The lands can be a bitch, but it works. I even sometimes DT for a Frantic Search just so i can untap a land or academy. In V3.1 Ill try Candelbra. I might try Mox Diamond in replace of Grim Monolith in V3.1 too. But I have tested with many land base, and this is my favorite.

And for some odd twist of fate, I havnt seen Fastbond being excelent for some time now. I almost never tutor for it, and I seem to go off fine w/o it in play. Im not sure what to do.

Also, Yawgmoths Will is useless in aggro match, but it awesome vs controle (believe me, ive tested and debated on this one for along time). Hollistic Wisdom is gone in V3.0 along with Pernicious Deed. Also, CoP red is gone too if my memory is right (Im on my uncles comp, so I dont have the DL with me)

And this deck is damn good, dont question it. I dare even say almost as good as Academy. It averages 3rd and 4th turn kills aginst non-controle. Aginst controle, its all about setting up for a big turn of allot of threats. Duress into Abeyance into Draw 7 into kill is hat happens most aginst controle. Twisted Dreams is the hardest deck Ive ever played, even harder than Academy. Hell, DTing into a Frantic Search is damn techy
