Fairlawn is in Bergen County New Jersey. Its exit 160 Off the Garden State Parkway. Its probably about 40 minutes away from Union.

Hmm...8 proxies allowed means that somone can proxy up Keeper, mono-blue, or most of Stacker.

you can take the 171 bus from the George Washington Bridge. It is about $3.60 each way.
I am glad I made it to previous tourneys evan though I didn't do so well because I LEARNED from my experience.
Hope I can make it again.

the torny is thursday August 8th, and the beta mox emerald is the prize. A meta game shift has occured and the field is no longer heavy Sligh. The last torny saw
2 Keeper (types) {1 in top 8} 2 Sligh {both in top 8} 1 turbonevyn {top2} 1 U/Rphiddian {top 8} 2 Sui (1 good / 1 bad) 1 Forbidian (real bad w/ Quash) 1 Oath 1 Burn (real bad couldn't be called Sligh) 1 Neo-academy (type) {winner} 1 U/W aggro (sort of Zoo) 1 R/G Sligh (type) 1 Squrrelcraft {top 8} 1 Raunchy haunting echo's Deck (me) {top 8}
Though 4 of 16 were Sligh types, only 2 were any good. 5 of 16 were combo decks.
The real bad burn had Ball lightnings in it, while the MO of the bad forbidian player was to stall as long as possible so that your match would be a draw or one win on his side. One of the Keeper players also tries the same shananagins but I managed to win game one via Huanting Echo's (leaving him with no counters save Misdirection) and game two, two extract twice in one turn taking both of his Morplings, to a slow victory.
Several of the regulars didn't show for this one. notably 1 Sligh, one Stompy, one Sui, one White wennie, one B/R land destruction and three other mono decks were missing from the field. This might explain 4 combo decks in the top 8.
Jp I will still offer you the ride home I offered last time, if you need it. I also extend this offer to Dave Kaplan.
until then,

I do not intentionally stall games. I admit I am slow. I realize I need to improve my skill so I may play faster.
I hope in the next few tourneys I may play well enough that you change your opinion of me.

Thanks so much for the offer molo, had I saw this earlier I probably would have come. I wanted to come but my friend who had the car had to work. I would really like to come to the lotus tourney, but school is starting up so I don't know if I can.
