Bryce Reynolds has a great report over at starcitygames covering a recent tournament held by our very own Steve O'Connell.  A fun read but, as a resident of Concord and Hopkinton, I have to say I laughed my ass off reading his account of my hometown...I grew up on Pleasant St.!  It is, indeed, quite pleasant.  And if you think Concord is G-rated you never met the 8-Ball Posse

Ouch, I was out of the Concord public school system by the time they came around, but I had some friends at CHS tell me about them.  I found the entire "gang in Concord" thing a little odd to be honest, but never heard about the incident with the girl.

On a happier note, I'll be returning to Hopkinton tomorrow after a 7 month hiatus in Germany (and I still don't play TnT--yet) and would love to catch a few games.  Where do you play?  Ever since Collectibles burned down, I haven't seen too much in Concord along the lines of gaming (although I've been out of touch for ages).

For the tournament, I go to Concord Card. Normally there isnt much type 1 happening there, unless you count the twisted T1.5 they play on friday nights. Your best bet is to keep me post (here or PM is fine) and maybe myself, a friend or 2, and you could throw some cards around for a bit.

For now, if you want, let me know and I can try to be at concord card on friday evening. I have 5 Type 1 decks thrown together so you can face a gauntlet if youd like.

I would love to run the gauntlet, I need to practice, but my girlfriend gets priority on Friday over magic (go figure).  I'll take you up on the offer soon though.  You free mid-week?
