Magic: The Gathering Tournament

Deck Construction
Minimum 60 card deck. 4 of any single card, unlimited basic land. The following cards are limited to one of each:
Balance, Berserk, Black Vise, Braingeyser, Crop Rotation, Demonic Consultation, Demonic Tutor, Doomsday, Dream Halls, Enlightened Tutor, Fact or Fiction, Fastbond, Fork, Frantic Search, Grim Monolith, Hurkyl’s Recall, Ivory Tower, Land Tax, Library of Alexandria, Lotus Petal, Mana Crypt, Mana Vault, Memory Jar, Mind Over Matter, Mind Twist, Mirror Universe, Mox Diamond, Mystical Tutor, Necropotence, Recall, Regrowth, Sol Ring, Strip Mine, Stroke of Genius, Time Spiral, Tinker, Tolarian Academy, Underworld Dreams, Vampiric Tutor, Voltaic Key, Wheel of Fortune, Windfall, Yawgmoth’s Bargain, Yawgmoth’s Will, Zuran Orb.
The following cards are banned:
Black Lotus, Burning Wish, Cunning Wish, Death Wish, Golden Wish, Living Wish, Mox Sapphire, Mox Jet, Mox Pearl, Mox Emerald, Mox Ruby, Chaos Orb, Falling Star, Channel, Ancestral Recall, Timetwister, Time Walk, Divine Intervention, Shahrazad, Ring of Ma’ruf, and any “ante” cards.
Special Rules
* Cards with the same English text, but with different pictures are considered the same.
* A physical means must be used to keep track of your life total.
* All cards and rules abide by the 7th edition text and casting costs.
* Paris Mulligan rule (a player may mulligan for any reason)
* The use of proxy cards is not allowed. Proxies are cards inserted in place of another.
* Same deck must be used throughout the entire tournament.
* No sideboards will be allowed.
* Random deck checks may occur throughout the day
* An “ORACLE” will be available for questions regarding foreign cards.
* Judges decisions are FINAL
* Cards from the ‘Unglued’ Expansion are not allowed.
****Cheating**** in any form will result in expulsion from the tournament. NO REFUNDS.
* A deck list is required to enter the tournament.
FORMAT
You must play a minimum of 10 games in open play, which is 3 hours. Top 32 advance to Pro side and remaining go to Amateur side. The second round is a best 2 out of 3 match, single elimination. Booster drafts and limited side events will also be held later in the day.
