Is there going to be pre-registration again? Or can we just show up at the door?

You can just show up at the door. Although if someone is going to come, a Shoutout would be cool so I can determine how many people are going to show up.

Saturday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Seems like Saturday has been working out, the small showing last saturday was because the entry fee was to high for not a good enough prize, plus most of the ngers already have a mox ruby.

Well I guess it's about time I chimed in on this one. So here goes...
I am planning on attending the tornies in New England the next week. So the possibilitys of getting two Saturdays in a row off are not good. Though Sunday is not really better, I could be there that day. Though this will take some fanageling on my part.
Jay, I will be down at the store for a little while on Wed we can talk about it then
laterz,

Sunday would be preferred for the entirety of the Binghamton crew I think, as we have to kick eachother's asses around the day before.

Well, I talked to Jason today and I am pretty sure he is moving it to Sunday, course he did have to run out because he is scared something is going to happen to his house on "goosey night," as he calls it.
Does anyone else call it that?
I think it was cabage night or slam night when I was young.
So, like I said Sunday should be on.

"goosey night" is what we call it here in Saddle Brook. It's such a fun night, though I stayed relatively clean compared to my friends.
Anyway, I guess Sunday is alright. So that would make it Dec. 1?

If it's Saturday, There's a 1% I can make it. If it's Sunday, there a 90% I can make it.
And seeing as I'm the usual ride for the Binghamton crew, their percentages are probably pretty close to mine as well.
EDIT: Just adjusted the percentages

Leviat if the tournament does end up being on a Sunday, any chance you have room for one more?

I'm bumping this back up because I was hoping that someone in the know would tell me if this was still going to be on Saturday, or has it been moved to Sunday?

yea you think Jason or Steve might have replyed, as to the when...
Well I am going to the store tonight, so I will ask Jason to either post the definitive word or let me do it.
Edit: talked to Jason tonight, he said it is on for Sunday December 1st, oddly enough because the store is over run by Yugio geeks!!!
sorry about the edit, but I am at 199 posts and I want #200 to be something special, so it might be a few days...
later, :end edit.\n\n

You can expect the Binghamton crew to show up.
We're not coming down just for the prizes either. This tournament is about dignity. This tournament is about respect. Most importantly, this tournament is about proving our bamf.
On behalf of the Binghamton crew, I officially challenge the NGers to a duel. No, not just a duel...a brutal, grueling, spork-in-your-eye deathmatch to the bitter end. We demand satisfaction. We demand revenge.
If the NGers don't show up, we will consider it a concession that, yes, we do in fact 0wn you. Any non-attendence and non-representation by NG personnel will be attributed to NG being overcome by ph34r.
BAWK BAWK BAWK BAWK BAWK!!!

If it could be on saturday, that would be amazing for me. There's a PTQ in Rochester on Sunday that I want to make(and will probably go to instead of this if it's on Sunday), so I'm hoping it's not too late for it to be on Saturday Also, Yu Gi Oh kids are REALLY wierd and we were somewhat pressed for space last time, so having them in the store with us at the same time may not be the best thing. a few questions about this tournament. first is this thing definitely gonna be on sunday the 1st? do you have to pre-register? how many ppl you expecting? also, just want to make sure the proxies can be anything, not just p9. and the last thing is can somebody who usually plays at this store give us a description of the expected metagame. if i'm gonna make the 3hr drive i'd like to have a little info so i can be prepared, and not just drive a long way for an ass kicking. thanks in advance

They are listed as "torny at Gamemaster," "T1 in Fairlawn," "Thursday Night Magic," or "Saturday Afternoon Magic."

Bitches be scoutin' like a mofo up in here. They can read my mind too. Eeeeeeeek!!! Crap. I just revealed my top secret tech. Dammit. When I was there, I played against nothing but Keeper for like 8 rounds though. I was playing Keeper myself too. Just check the tournament reports and you'll see what the environment is like down there.

For anyone from NYC who hasn't been here before, here are directions.
Take the A train to 175 Street, this station is connected to the George Washington Bridge Bus Terminal. Upstairs you get on the 171 bus and take it to the Radburn stop (Plaza road & Fairlawn Avenue). For safty sake, I suggest you ask the driver to make an announcment on the PA system to let you know when you arrive.
I suggest you sit on the Right side of the bus. If you keep your eye sharp you will see the bus pass by the shop on the right side. There is also a Domino's Pizza on the same block at the corner. About half a block down, the bus will make a right turn. If you quickly signal for a stop he will let you out on a street with houses, just walk back to where you just saw the stop. If you wait till the official Radburn stop, it will leave you about 2 blocks further at an intersection of another major street. Just walk back to where you had just seen the store.
There bus ride for the 171 is about $3 and change each way, $7 and change for the round trip. You can buy the tickets on the bus. I have used $10 dollar bills and had no trouble. To be on the safe side, make sure to have a $10 or $5, I do not know if they will accept a $20, I doubt they will take anything higher.
On a good note, for the way back, the bus is right across the street less than a full block away!
Time Tables, I will list both Sat and Sun just in case.
Saturday Leave Arrive 10:15 10:51 10:45 11:26 11:15 11:56 11:45 12:26 12:15 12:56
Sunday 09:45 10:15 10:45 11:15 11:45 12:15
I don't know if I can make it but hope to do so.
