i dont really have time for a tourney report and i didn't take notes past round 3, so i'll just summarize real quick

round 1: a not too hot version of taiga.dec
reflecting pools and factories and ball lightnings
i used my wastelands to make sure his reflecting pools couldn't do jack, and the round was pretty easy
finished off with a negator game 1 and 2
games 2-0
matches 1-0

round 2: Ben Will playing void.  close as hell games, games 1 and 3 were boring games, me winning game 3 and him game 1
2 was pretty close tho
i started with an awesome hand, but he had some awesome disruption turns 1 and 2 so it screwed me over
luckily, he stalled
went on for a while, and i finished off with a negator
games 4-1
matches 2-0

round 3: Nick (aka billtheduck) playing keeper
i offered a draw, but he wanted to play it out anyways
i didn't take notes here, so its a bit fuzzy
basically, blood moon owns
beat him 2-1
games 6-2
matches 3-0

round 4 (final round in swiss): nick's little bro chris playing dragon
he owned my game 1 pretty easily, i didnt' have a good hand
meanwhile me and tome (limeguy) complained about how dragon.dec sucked and was boring, and his come back was that it worked
games 2 and 3: blood moon pwns you!!!
games 8-3
matches 4-0

made it into top 8 ranked 1st
not bad for a rogue deck

round 1 of top 8: ben will playing void, same as round 2
games 1 and 2 were split, pretty uneven. i killed hardcore game 1, he killed me game 2.
game 3 however....game 3 was the closest game of magic i've ever played, and the main reason i'm writing this
when i won, i had 2 cards left in my library, he had 5
i got a turn 2 CoP: Black, and it still took that long
for a while some nasty discard took my creatures away from me and eventually took my light of day before i could cast it
factories were met by my creatures which were forced to stay at home, me being at 3 life and him at 23 for most of the match.  eventually with 5 cards left in my library, i drew a yawgmoth's will after at the EoT of the turn before disenchanting his void (plenty of mana at this point)
i cast will, disenchanted his keg which was one counter short of killing my 2 savannah lions, played light of day, and wastelanded his only remaining factory
i attacked him with lions and a pup for the kill, with 3 cards left in my library or so when i won
holy shit, i was so braindead at this point

top 4:  some guy who ran a t2 tourney i went to, playing something that looked like super gro, tho i never saw a dryad
game 1 was easy for him, i got a horrible hand, but showed potential that was never used
game 2:  i got a very early blood moon thanks to a mulligan by him
we played mountain-go for a LONG time bcause i couldnt draw a goddamn creature, and when i finally did i killed him in 4 turns (negator rules)

game 3: he got 2 early werebears and just enough swords for every one of my creatures
i was left at 1 life facing 2 werebears with 6 cards in hand and 6 lands including the land drop for the turn
i had an ensnaring bridge in hand, but only one 1 drop and the rest 3 drops
i was one mana short in so many ways of surviving, but in the end i just scooped

so i ended up tied for 3rd
1st got a mox, 2nd got a foily BoP, i got nothing

EDIT: i didn't paste a decklist
wanna know why?
i was so braindead i left the deck in nick's backpack when i dropped him off
its rwb aggro, kinda similar to clubber lang (check the T1ToC decklists for it) with red instead of blue cause i dont have power
it really showed promise goine 4-0 in the swiss rounds against keeper, dragon, void, and a scrub deck
but beating keeper void and dragon isn't something to be ashamed of
i'll have a decklist up asap
and if nick feels nice...he might post it, seeing as he has it

Very intersting. I'd definitely like to see that deck when you get the chance.  I've thought of adding red a number of times, but usally as substititute for the black rather than blue.  I am especially curious about how you fit a Blood Moon in.

thats the thing
i got some really weird looks for using blood moon in a 3 color deck, and in retrospect, i would've taken out a mountain or two for plains, since i had quite a few non-basics
i built the deck three nights ago, so there were some minor glitches

and do you have a decklist for your rwu version?
because i've always seen vindicate as one of the strongest spells
and i personally would rather have blue over red, but i didn't have the cards so red seemed like a stronger choice than green

I morked up a r/w/b version and started playing it...it does seem pretty strong, with no real power added. The r/w/u I never actaully put down, but I imagine it would end up looking a lot like The Patriot (just not quite as icky).

Vindicate is strong...as long as nobody plays Misdirection or Mana Drain. \n\n
