I just got done confirming the details.

Dreamer's
St. Louis Park, MN

Dec. 8th - 1:00pm

Black Lotus 1st Prize

That should bring in a few people. Now, time to increase my skill at least a hundred-fold so I can hopefully win.

I'm thinking of maybe bringing a mono-green monstrosity down, just have to tweak it a bit more.

Hopefully, I'll be able to make it.  Thanks for the IM, BTW.

Hey Abra, what is your mono green monstrosity?  I'd love to help you test it.  I'm wasp1028 on aim.  And waSP_ on EFNet if you want to message me.

Do you know what the entry fee is going to be?

I'm pretty sure that it's $10.  I'll check for sure by Tuesday and post again if that's not right.

This is today (Sunday).  The $10 entry fee has been confirmed.  I made sure that everyone who was at the Friday tournament knew about it.  Most already did, some did not, so maybe the turn-out will be even better this time.

Dreamers is on the corner of Texas and Minnetonka for anyone who hasn't been there.

Well i guess i'll be the first to report it.

I won.  I'll write a report about the few details i can remember.  I do remember a lot of 1/1 kird ape beatdown.

Got that done.  Now it should be known that 75% of top 8 was control.  25% of it was zoo.  What is likely to win.  It is a dreamer's tourney so the zoo was going to win.  Control dies in that store.. especially in finals.  I had to wade through the control heavy top 8.  Thank god for reasonable topdecking.  It was nice to see some different styles of control do really well.  I'm sorry for ben who was forced out of top 8 because his opponent refused to draw in.

GJ to the 6 control players who plowed through a heavy field of aggro and control.

Hope the next tourney there is just as strong.
