Unsacntioned Type 1 tourneys in Helsinki, FI

Greetings.

I've been talking with a few people about this already, and wanted to hear from any Type 1 players in or near Helsinki who would be interested in participating in regular (monthly or more often) unsanctioned Type 1 tournaments. These would be separate and independent to the ones held by Safe Haven.

If we could get enough people (20 or so), we can arrange a venue somewhere in the center (this still needs to be researched). The idea would be to offer a type 1 card for 1st place, paid for by the entrance fees. For instance, if people were willing to pay around 10 euro to enter, with 20 people we could offer a mox for 1st place.

I'm thinking the venue would probably be a restaurant, so they'd probably want us to buy food and drinks there.

Most likely times for these tournaments would be Saturday or Sunday afternoons, probably starting around 13:00.

What I'd like to see is replies to this post with:
- whether you'd be interested in this sort of regular event
- how often you might be able to participate
- what weekday and time is generally more convenient
- how much maximum you'd pay to enter
- whether you'd buy food/drinks if we were to hold it at a restaurant

So far, this is just an idea, but if there's enough interest, we'll try to make something happen one way or another.

well i think we should stick to the tournaments safehaven arranges as i have now gotten Toni to arrange one sanctioned per month.(we even have 2 this month).

I think if we can muster up enough ppl to come play the sanctioned one we can later convert it to be a "mox tourney"
if we get like 20+ regulars.

And Safehaven would be the best1 to offer us the powercards. As the binders are filled with powers

But then again i think we have 3 ppl from helsinki on these forums... me you and preacher  other ppl tell me if i am wrong

It's true that we don't have too many people here yet. Maybe we can drum up some support on Sunday during the Type 1 tournament.

Ahh, and we must remember the original member - g00t (Erkka) is also here, so that makes 4. Still not too many, though
