I now publicily challenge 'Boa to come out of hiding and get his face smashed.
I got AOL, pollished up my silverware and greased up my large men. Now where's my opponent?
He's at home, washing his tights...\n\n

I lost to Acolytec two zip. Blah, this isn't going very well. Hopefully I'll get better luck in the 0-2 bracket. I'll try to post a report soon, but I'm really busy, so I don't know when that'll be.

Is it possible for me and Carl to get an extension? My firewall backdoor has been acting up and I haven't been able to catch Carl AND Jeek online to get everything sorted out.

Since there are sooo many people who still have to play, I guess I'm somewhat forced to give out extentions. I'm just politely asking you to email each other, and set a time this week, so that I can at least pair on friday before the weekend. If people cannot show up this week, LET ME KNOW. I'd be happy to report a no-show I guess.
If you are on the following picture, I don't know your result yet.

Me and Brimstone are trying to play this week but understand that I have to play at night because of time difference. I do nit know if I manage to play before friday, but I will surely be able to play on this weekend. If I cannot, I declare myself as the loser voluntarily.
On another note, I never got mail or something that the next round started nor who my next opponent is. Of course I can come here and figure out, I just wanted to have pointed that out.

You said kirdape dropped. I figured you'd put two and two together, so I didn't say anything. So here I am now:
My opponent dropped. I don't know if that's a win or draw for me.

I'm dropping. There are two reasons why. First, I just can't play in a tournament with rounds that last as many as an obscene four weeks, its totally ridiculous to wait this long for the next round to start. The idea of waiting more than an hour between rounds of a tournament just seems absurd to me. When I win, I want to get right back into the action so I can keep it going, and when I lose, I want to get right back into the action so I can right my situation immediately. Second, I have always had a strong dislike for non-real life Magic, as all of the crucial visual interaction with the opponent is taken away, and perhaps even more importantly, the ability to view the entire game state is hampered by the poor quality of Apprentice. This is why I have never taken the results of online tournaments very seriously at all. To me, its just not the way the game is supposed to be played. Too many essential elements of real tournament play are absent from Apprentice "tournament" play to suit my liking. So that's enough for me. However, I would like to thank Nimrod for the invitation, as I do appreciate it.\n\n

As expsected, I lost to Brimstone´s TnT 0-2. First game he had a god-hand of Workshop-Lotus-Juggy-Survival. I managed to consult for and pop a Disk on turn three but it was already too late. Second game I opened with an Idol, he played nothing but a Taiga. So second turn I could deploy a Warbeast, Duress a Survival away and Sinkhole is only land and yet it was not enough to beat him, damn. But at least we had quick games.
We even played a third game which I lost, too. Him at 4 life, but there was no real chance. I want to get an control deck next, a match vs good old Keeper would be something to look forward to.\n\n

klown and I are finishing our match tonight. (He wants to watch The Simpsons first)
Current status of the match: I'm winning 1-0.

EDIT -- For all of you that care, I defeated kl0wn 2-1. If anybody is interested, I'll post a report.\n\n

[12:32:02] (MoreFling): carl suggested I'd flip a coin for them lol [12:32:12] (Cividel): That question is the source of a large amount of conjecture, at least where I'm concerned [12:32:21] (Cividel): MoreFling - Coin Flips happen enough as it is in T1, let them play :/ [12:32:29] (MoreFling): er.. [12:32:33] (MoreFling): it's taking too long [12:32:36] (MoreFling): and they have conn. problems [12:32:39] (MoreFling): it's already 1-1 [12:32:41] (VDQ): yah, but that's no fun [12:32:53] (MoreFling): but jaypee's firewall, and carls inability to read my webpage on how to forward ports in routers [12:33:02] (MoreFling): might indicate I might as well flip [12:33:18] (Cephyr): MoreFling: flip. let's keep things moving [12:33:28] (Cividel): hax0r jaypee's firewall and / or Cr4l's router [12:33:31] (Cephyr): they've had plenty of time - and they're often online at the same time [12:33:35] (MoreFling): ok [12:33:37] (MoreFling): heads = carl [12:33:40] (MoreFling): tails = jaypee [12:33:52] (MoreFling): it's tails I'll post pairings and standings within 5 mins or so.

Current standings are posted here. Round 3 pairings are posted here. Since I have no real way to actually force you to hurry (I don't want the tournament to include droppings forced by the TC, me.) I would like to ask you to finish before march, so we gain back some time. Good luck ! **Edit** : I had to repair because I forgot to drop Legend. **Edit** : repaired again, my dcir forgot I dropped kirdape about 3 fucking weeks ago. **Edit** : I didn't change the rolandb vs kirdape result either, so repair AGAIN. I am a MORON\n\n
