Acolytec's sideboarding Akroma, which isn't legal yet. Badass, very. Legal, nope.
WW actually has good matchups against like half of this field. Fully 13/26 decks have plenty of targets for things like Devout Witness and Swords to Plowshares. I'm not looking forward to that one.
Ceedzor: EW. Card for card is uncalled for, man :-p.
Redman: BADASS. I was going to play R/G, but then I decided to play with cards I do not own (as is the point of things like these).

Look at RolandB's Psychatog deck. Demonic Consultation. That's a ballsy tog deck.

Pretty wide open field.
Pure Paragon Keeper (including one with the shameful Renewed Faith, ugh!) and Parfait are the leading archtypes, each represented 3 times.
Like Noahs Ark, there are many animals following 2 by 2. Two Masks, 2 PTFunks, 2 'Togs, 2 Oaths, 2 (very different) Slighs and 2 (very different) Gros.
Eight unique decks round out the field. Formerly mighty archetypes like MonoU, MonoB and RG Zoo are here. Interesting.
Expectation-wise, I can do some math. Here are the numbers for the percentage chance of a single deck that has 3 copies in the tournament (either Parfait or Keeper) being in the T8:
zero in T8: 31% exactly 1 in T8: 47% exactly 2 in T8: 19% all 3 in T8: 2%
Since its a little hard to wrap your brain around exactly what these numbers mean, heres the most probable outcome for the T8 overall:
2 decks from the "unique" section 4 decks from the "2x2" section 2 decks from Parfait & Keeper combined
This doesnt take into account little factors like playskill or favorable matchups; its just the expectation if advancing to T8 was totally random.

Am I the only one who decided to have some fun? Well, the Parfait guys too but still....
IMO, Worldgorger isn't so great with most decks hating the graveyard-- I mean, look at me for example. I have 4 StoPs main and 3 Crypts in the board. I OWN combo. OWN IT!
I predict that I will be paired against one of the control decks in the first round, lose, and proceed to tear through all the other aggro (yeah, I said aggro will lose ) decks and then get smacked around by a deck that uses blue yet again.

Nimrod asked us to not bring fun little cute decks, but instead to bring our best game possible. Or at least that's what he told me.

I almost wish that I had played Clubber Lang, that way, if you asked for a prediction, I could've just said "I predict PAIN!" Anway, I must admit I half expected Puschkin's deck to be highlander. Where are all the TnT decks I stuffed 7 cards in my sb for? Az: I guess you decided my ToC performance with WW was so promising, you'd give it a shot? And that was your deck then too, remember? The Javlineers are a wonderful touch. Should be lots of fun. I predict at least one PT Funk in the Top 8. And Dan, you are sooo lucky I didn't pull out Clubber. I predict you make top 4 at least though, as long as you keep the play errors down. Oh, and kird: I am playing with cards I don't have. I managed to lose my Scrolls and now really don't want to have to pay 15 a pop to get new ones. And you figure it's been about 3 ToC's since I played my favorite decktype, so this showing was really due.\n\n

2IslandKeeper, and next to no non-basic hosers! Hahaha on us.
Azhrei - WW is a fine deck indeed. As for having fun, I was going to play my Noble Panther deck 'Wet Pussy' but I figured it would be insulting to Nimrod who wanted to bring this up a notch in quality. However, I will stick to my word and play Wet Pussy in the next T1ToC and proceed to demolish you all.
Acolytec is playing a very cool deck! U/g Oath that can turn into Ophidian. There is a few changes I scratch my head over, but all in all I think it'll do well and keep many decks here honest.
Oh yeah, the prediction that Azhrei had made was dead on. First round he faces Keeper. Another funny matchup is Jeek vs. Barktooth.

Quote (Zherbus @ Jan. 15 2003,03:23)Another funny matchup is Jeek vs. Barktooth. Time for some hot Oath-on-Oath action. At any rate, I was seriously hoping for more TnT. I'm definitely expecting to place in the top 32, and wouldn't mind a 6th round to get that extra match in that I'll need to put me in at least the top 26.

Oh, also as the tc-guy, I'd like to make a tournament introduction, turning on my dci (practise) mode (courtesy of mr. Jaap Brouwer). "Today we will be playing 5 rounds of swiss, and I will announce this multiple times, since I always get the question later on: "How many rounds again?" We will cut to a T8 in single elimination, based on the standings of the 5 rounds of swiss we are going to play. So, a warm welcome to everybody invited and participated, and to all the spectators around. Today we will be playing 5 rounds of swiss, which will all last as long as it takes. Today we will be playing 5 rounds of swiss, and the results will have to get back to tmd_invitational@hotmail.com before the 2 week mark. Today we will be playing 5 rounds of swiss, and I hope everyone will enjoy their matches, and play in a friendly atmosphere. Today we will be playing 5 rounds of swiss, and in case of rules disputes, I suggest you all turn to #mtgjudge on EFnet. Usually, there's some smart dci-judge or equal minds around to help you with any problem you may encounter. Just ask them nicely, and I'm positive they will provide. Today we will be playing 5 rounds of swiss, and the pairings are UP! Go find your opponent and table, and let's get it on!"

Jeek's oath is funny looking and cool, i predict he wins the whole thing, legend takes second and that a mask deck takes 3rd. Amos

Prediction time for round 1:
Acolytec (Sapphire Oath) vs. kl0wn (Mask) kl0wn 2-1. I see him taking game 1 since Dreadnought trumps anything Oathed up in Acoly's main. He'll lose one of the SB'ed games to Woodripper though.
AxeMurder (Gro) vs. Burning Ice (Ice Blue Zoo) AxeMurder 2-0. The two decks do the same thing, but his spells are cheaper and his creatures are better.
Azhrei (WW) vs. RiverBoa (Keeper) RiverBoa 2-1. WW has big problems with Balance. And the only reason that I'm not saying 2-0 is because he decides to spot Az a game.
Barktooth (Oath) vs. Jeek (G/R Oath) Jeek 2-1. Um yeah...I pick Jeek simply because he has Treetop Villages. This match will probably be the longest one of the round.
Brimstone (TnT) vs. MoreFling (Parfait) MoreFling 2-0. His deck is so heavily packed with anti-creature cards and his sideboard loaded with good cards that I don't predict that Brimstone will even be able to win one.
CF (Super Gro) vs. Smmenen (Mono-blue) CF 2-0. edt called Gro "The best Ophidian build." Plus, CF's sideboard helps a lot more than Smmenen's does here.
CooberP (Enchantress) vs. Me (Tog) Me 2-0. 1) I am not sure if I have ever lost anything to him and 2) he has at most 6 cards that I need to counter.
Kirdape3 (Mask) vs. RolandB (GroAtog) RolandB 2-0. 1) He has the greatest deck of all time and 2) I was able to beat Smmenen's Mask deck with my Type 2 Tog deck at GP Cleveland
K-Run (Parfait) vs. Crazy Carl Winter (Keeper) CCW 2-0. Parfait used to be more of a 2-1 matchup for Keeper, but that was before Cunning Wish for Allay.
Dave Kaplan (Sligh) vs. Redman (Zoo) Redman 2-1. He's got an advantage game 1 with his bigger dudes and Cursed Scrolls, but he'll probably take a loss in one of the SB'ed games from Price of Progress
Legend (Legend Ankh Sligh) vs. Matt the Great (PT Funk) MtG 2-1. MtG has a ton of good anti-Sligh cards, but Legend will most likely end up grabbing a game on damage from his colorless sources.
Nimrod (Parfait) vs. Puschkin (Hungry Hungry Hypnos) 2-1 Nimrod. I have honestly no idea how this will turn out. If you didn't know, Puschkin's deck is based on an old Wakefield deck, featured in the article "The Best Weekend Ever."
PsychoCid (PT Funk) vs. Zherbus (Keeper) Zherbus 2-1. Cid is a little light on disruption game 1, but Choke will make games 2-3 interesting.\n\n

Acolytec (A metagame deck - Sapphire Oath 2003) vs. kl0wn (Mask) 2-1 Acolytec - Since I made a similiar deck, I am a bit biased but reall I think this could swing either way, but it should be a 2-1 in either finish.
AxeMurder (Gro) vs. Burning Ice (Ice Blue Zoo) AxeMurder 2-0 - Just don't think IBZ is geared for Zoo.
Azhrei (WW) vs. RiverBoa (Keeper) RiverBoa 2-0 - Balance and Yawgmoth's will hurt an awful lot.
Barktooth (Oath) vs. Jeek (G/R Oath) Jeek 2-0 - He has a good cause to fight for! Oh yeah and like JP said, manlands.
Brimstone (TnT) vs. MoreFling (Parfait) MoreFling 2-0 - I would give it a 2-1 but I am not sure how good of a TnT plater Brimpants is.
CF (Super Gro) vs. Smmenen (Mono-blue) CF 2-1 - I think Gush will really pull this one.
CooberP (Enchantress) vs. JP (Tog) JP 2-0 - CooberP isn't think of TOG when he makes Enchantress.
Kirdape3 (Mask) vs. RolandB (GroAtog) RolandB 2-1 - In reality, it could go either way but I think Tog might be more solid.
K-Run (Parfait) vs. Crazy Carl Winter (Keeper) CCW 2-0 - Because he runs islands.
Dave Kaplan (Sligh) vs. Redman (Zoo) Redman 2-1 - Kaplans is fast, but Redman has a late game.
Legend (Legend Ankh Sligh) vs. Matt the Great (PT Funk) Legend 2-0 - I just see burn and colorless damage pulling their weight.
Nimrod (Parfait) vs. Puschkin (Hungry Hungry Hypnos) Nimrod 2-1 - Puschkin might even take it if his disruption pulls the right things.
PsychoCid (PT Funk) vs. Zherbus (Keeper) Me 2-1 - Just because.

In the spirit of Ben Bleiweiss, I'll bet 5 words per match that JP is wrong.
If JP accepts, he'll write 5 words about each match that didn't go as he predicted, and I'll write 5 words about each one that he did call correctly. If he doesn't accept, I'll write all 75 words about what a JP is.
Note: since so many matches are skewed, I'm going to hold JP to his exact results. So if, Zherbus sweeps, for example, then I win the bet for that match.
So, JP, do you accept?

3 Parfait 3 Paragon Keeper 2 Illusionary Mask (Both U/B) 2 BG Funk 1 Ice Blue Zoo 1 R/G/u Zoo 1 Psychatog 1 MonoBlack (With Infinite 3 drops) 1 Ophidian 1 TnT 1 R/G Oath 1 Enchantress 1 Goblin Sligh 1 Saphire Oath 1 U/G/B Oath 1 Anhk Sligh 1 White Weenie 1 Miracle Gro 1 Growatog 1 Super Grow
You could group things slightly closer together but that probably wouldn't be fair to the differences of those decks.

I'm suprised no one metagamed a R\G beats deck like this...
Creatures (22)
3 Gorilla shaman 4 Dwarven miner 4 Kird Ape 4 Skyshroud Elite 4 River boa 3 Masticore
Spells (15) 2 Hull breach 1 Wheel of fortune 4 Lightning bolt 3 Incinerate 3 Cursed scroll
Mana (23) 4 Wooded foothills 3 Mountain 4 Forest 4 Taiga 3 Wasteland Strip mine Mox Emerald Mox Ruby Sol Ring Black Lotus
SB: (15) 3 Blood moon 3 Ankh of Mishra 3 Blurred mongoose 3 Anarchy 1 Hull breach 2 Tormod's crypt
We knew (or thought we knew) there would be a heavy keeper element. Ice blue zoo from Burning Ice, and K-run parfait would have been no-brainers.
