It is probably Unlimited, since less people have been showing up for the power and regular tournies than normal. Any word on who won today?

Decks known to be there today
Rector Trix, Lime Parfait, UB Mask x2, BR ICT!!!!, Red Rock, UR Trix, Ankh Sligh, RG Beatz, Monoblack jank, Ducktape x2, Pox.

Top 8 was composed thusly

No idea about the seeding

I was only aware of 7 of the players in top 8

Darek UB Mask
Me RG Beatz
Sam Type 1 Rock variant splashing red (Red Rock)
Steve Ducktape
Mike GAT
Steve Sligh
Jeff B/R ICT (heh, i dunno)

Semifinal Matchups
Me vs. Mike
Sam vs. Jeff
Steve vs. Steve
Darek vs. 8th person

I beat Mike
Jeff beat Sam
Steve (sligh) beat Steve (ducktape)
Darek beat 8th person

Quarterfinal Matchups

Me vs. Jeff
Darek vs. Steve

I beat Jeff
Darek beat Steve

Darek and i split the 75 store credit.

We played the match for fun.  We were very hurried because Jason had to close up the store.  Darek crushed me 2-0.  He got some nice hands, but his build has improved immensely.

Thanks to Jason again for a well run tournament, although i feel as though it should have been 5 rounds.  I might right a nice little report later on.

Cool plays of the day
Parfait vs. Mask
Parfait casts Humility (last card in hand, says go).
Mask player casts dreadnought face up, says go.
Parfait player draws, plays land.
Mask player Cunning Wishes for Hatred.
Mask player wins.

My cool play of the day wasn't as good as that one, but here goes.

R/G Beatz vs. B/R ICT
First turn
He goes Lotus, Blood Moon, go.
I go Wasteland, Kird Ape, go.
He sighs.

I just want to go on record saying that I was NOT playing ICT.  Note that it was B/R based around Burning wish, not ICT, which has blue, and counters, and is quite lame.  However, I was playing 2 SB Nev's Disks   (which did win me a game against rector-trix cause of stack effects)

I only called it ICT because that is the best description I could think of to get it.  In our matches the only creatures I saw were the sedge trolls.  I saw the disk and some removal too.  I wanted to inspire some controversy too, heh.  A little shameless of me.
