This is my modification of the Great White Hype
Metagame includes:
Gro
Super Gro
Maskanaught
Trix
Suicide
Stompy
TNT
Stacker
Sligh
Keeper
Monoblue
Oath
Parfait (mostly K-Run builds)

These are the standouts to be expected
the rest is random decks piloted by scrubs (I'll just put this L by your name for you)

THE DECK

WHITE MEN THAT JUMP

THE ENGINE
4 Land Tax
2 Zuran Orb
3 Scroll Rack

THE KILL
2 Sacred Mesa

CRITTER CONTROL
4 Swords to Plowshare
1 Balance
1 Humility
2 Wrath of God

TOOLS
1 Enlightened Tutor
4 Orim's Chant

RECYCLE
4 Agrivian Find
3 Replenish

THE SILVER BULLETS
1 Blood Moon
1 Story Circle
2 Aura of Silence
1 Ivory Mask
1 Tormod's Crypt

MANA
1 Black Lotus
1 Mox Pearl
1 Mox Diamond
1 Lotus Petal
1 Sol Ring
1 Library of Alexandria
1 Strip Mine
2 Wastelands
1 Mountain
13 Plains

SB:

3 Tormod's Crypt (Reanimator/TNT/Stacker/Dragon/PBurst)
2 Ivory Tower (Sligh/Trix/Aggro)
1 Bloodmoon (Keeper/Gro/Players with Money)
3 Seal of Cleansing (TNT/Stacker/Trix/Mask/Miror)
1 Replenish (Any Blue Crap!)
2 Karmic Justice (Sligh w/anarchy/Random LD/Paragon)
1 Humility (TNT/Stacker/Anything with critters)
2 Aura of Silence (Mirror/Combo/All Tubbies)

THE NOTES

This design was meant to be fast and redundant.  I dropped the 3rd aura since there are 3 replenishes.  This requires more testing.  The sideboard choices are a little different but hear me out.

Justices are God (but only after they board in their removal)

Seals are there in place of the traditional aura fracture/abolish
the idea being enchantments are good in an replenish/find deck.  Seals and replenishes and finds are awesome against TNT.  Good against Trix too...

Towers are there against sligh and more importantly for my metagame, Trix

2nd Humulity, love the redundo!

Bloodmoon is the grand equalizer!  you got the money? Bought the cards? now pay the piper!

Crypts are Klown tech.  kill recursion and uber fast graveyard trick combo decks.  Kills TNT dead.

THE LOVE

Major Props to K-Run for this Archetype.  Bleach Keeper, this will always be your brainchild,  Just listen to how many other people use the phrase "win more" to describe cards for parfait.

Props to Klown for taking the deck to the next level.

Parfait is undergoing a change as Keeper/Paragon Keeper is going through.  I believe that Klown build is superior to the older versions, it is more redundant and more efficient.  This is what keeper has been evolving toward.

In the faster/bigger/badder aggro environment with keeper hate and non basic hate an ever threat, Parfait with its innocent little plains and aggro smashers is a major player in type 1.  And Paragon's buyback spells cannot compete with parfait's enchantment and artifact removal

Later

player 2: "white weenie"
player 1: "I accept you concession"

I'll just c/p you a few comments I made about Parfait (I've been playing it for a while now). If things seem out of context, sorry.

-----------------------------------------#1

Hey, I'm glad you liked the report.

You're right, the wish isn't an instant, which is a big reason why I am doubting it.
Mask DID turn up in a few matchups, probably because I was playing Sligh 3 times, and Academy once Smile
It's a matchup thing.

I'll give you a copy of my current list, which is still in some sort of testing mode:

//NAME: Parfait.nl
// T1 Parfait
// Rudy van Soest
// Mana Sources
       1 Strip Mine
       4 Wasteland
       1 Mox Pearl
       1 Mox Diamond
       1 Lotus Petal
       1 Serra's Sanctum
       1 Sol Ring
       13 Plains
// i 0wn j00 combo
       3 Scroll Rack
       4 Land Tax
// Silver Bullets
       1 Wrath of God
       1 Karmic Justice
       1 Story Circle
       1 Golden Wish
       1 Balance
       3 Aura of Silence
       2 Humility
// control-hate
       4 Argivian Find
       1 Jester's Cap
       1 Tormod's Crypt
       4 Abeyance
// aggro-hate
       2 Zuran Orb
       3 Swords to Plowshares
// theKILL
       2 Sacred Mesa
// Utility
       2 Replenish
       1 Soldevi Digger
       1 Enlightened Tutor
// Wishable SB
SB:  1 Story Circle
SB:  1 Words of Worship
SB:  1 Pariah
SB:  1 Chimeric Staff
SB:  1 Seal of Cleansing
SB:  1 Ivory Mask
SB:  1 Moat
SB:  1 Tormod's Crypt
// Non-Wishable SB
SB:  1 Replenish
SB:  1 Swords to Plowshares
SB:  1 Planar Birth
SB:  4 Orim's Chant

A few other cards I also want to test :
Scrying Glass
Phyrexian Processor

Note how this list is especially control-tuned, which if you expect a lot of aggro, or even 50/50 aggro vs control in the field, you should change a few slots around.

I mainly wished for the Mask, or the Crypt.
this doesn't mean I am missing the mask maindeck, since usually, the wishing was just to add Misery to my opponents side, since sligh has trouble with a humility / story circle lock already
I would consider adding a 2nd story circle earlier then putting the mask back in.

I'll write up a report after the 5th of januari, when we go to Castricum again.

----------------------------------------#2

now, for the real posting reason, as a response to lambosa.

Golden Wish - This lame-ass sorcery is just a way for me to work the Mask or 2nd Crypt in game 1, since I always side out the Wish. It occasionally fetches the 2nd story circle.
I myself have lately been doubting to keep this in, but still, I found myself during my turn, not having anything usefull to annoy my opponent with, and would wish for a next turn threath (I've been trying out 1 Mobilisation in the SB lately, and no more Moats). I know I liked the Wish during the last Castricum tournament, since it proved it's worth in the Academy matchup, and I had to play sligh 3 times, where I stalled long enough to wish for the mask and lock them even more. I'll get back to this issue after the next tournament...

5 strips/no bloodmoon : I wouldn't consider blood moon if my life depended on it. I'm too attached to my foil US plains Smile
But really, 5 strips is really nice to play around with against keeper, to give you significant startup advantage, and also, you can trick the little less experienced player into playing a 2nd land when you have a land tax out, and then destroy your own wasteland by saccing it, targetting itself, or however it works Smile - Really, I've been very happy not having to splash for blood moon.

Chant/Abeyance: Probably a style-choice, but I like abeyance's ability to replace itself against combo and control, but I have to admit I never used Chant maindeck, not even in testing.
After sideboarding, against tubbies, I'd consider changing them, or against combo, the 4 chants come in alongside the abeyance.
Against keeper, they probably come in. (pending the combo-element present in keeper). If you have no clue, expect the combo-element there

Keg over Wrath is a definate no-no. You won't hurt Keeper by destroying a few moxen, and also, you don't need it to destroy Morphling.
Against aggro, which obv. will not counter Wrath, can probably get rid of a pesky artifact or 2, like powder keg is for them.
Wrath of God has my preference since, in a way, it resets the board for you to take control again. Keg also is non-usefull against Tubbies, while Wrath can be decent enough.
Keg against Academy is obviously very good, but just to play it for that reason, is also another no-no. How much academy decks that actually play it well do you ever see ?
I see about 1, maybe 2. I see a lot more keeper and Tubbie/Aggro decks where Wrath is definately worth it.
I'm not sure if I can fit a keg in the side, since I doubt I would ever side it in (I keep humilitys and the like in against keeper and blue-control).

about your board:
Blood moon : yuck, said before.
3 (!!!) Crypts: heh, 1 maindeck ,and 1 side is ENOUGH. Even when you can't wish for it, 3 is overdoing the hate against yawgmoth's win.
Abolish ? hmm, I sorta like Auras and Seals, since I can Wish for it, and they have more synergy with replenish then abolish does.

about your sideboard strategy, against control or combo, I take out swords and wrath, wish and maybe another random bullet, and add Plenish, in general crypt, but not against everything, and chants.

About my own list : Chimeric Staff will not be a stayer, I'm surely taking it out.
I am most likely replacing Zorbs with Claws of Gix, with one more in the sideboard, to side in against keeper. <3 keeper h8.
Also, you can *yawn* Wish for claws easily

Still all my wishing mentioning in this sideboard is too much heh, since I'm probably not going to play Wish anyway in the next tournament. (I will mark the card though that i put in for Wish, just to see if I missed it.)
Basicly, playtesting with Wish doesn't give me a clear enough answer to play it...
Pariah and Moat are most likely also leaving, although I'm still 50/50 on the Moat. It doesn't work well with Humility, but against Aggro, it is usually just as good, and probably even better (with the exclusion of Tubbies, with their damned wonder).
Words of Worship is also a subject of change, but it has been usefull against Turbonevyn, but the problem is, for it to be effective, you HAVE to have the tax+rack engine in play, or you will be stuck either drawing the game, or decking your opponent in 60 turns (assuming no twister Smile ), probably not a good thing to do. The reason I first tried it though, was to keep myself from getting decked.
I do believe though the Words is good mirror-tech Smile
About mirror tech : Illumination anyone ? - gotta love mirage crap cards.

Anyway, this is all I am awake for to type up at the moment,

I hope this helps, feel free to bug me on IRC or here if you have any questions or comments, since I'm trying to improve the deck and my playing skills with it almost everyday!

What do you consider to be the major differences between K-run's and Klown's builds?

Morefling: thanks for the post.  I agree with a lot of what you say for your build but personally for my playing style I prefer more redundancy and more multifunctional cards.

Pernicious Dude:  The diference between K-run and Klown builds come down to redundancy and broader solutions, vs multiple single specific soulutions.  To be explained further...

(Again I do not want to start anything here, I have great respect for both K run and Klown.  I have been following K-run's posts since BDominia.  Its a question of playing style.)

Differences between the builds
K-run's deck is similar in style to the older green keeper decks with book in them and sylvan.  Blessings, regrow, and tome let you infinately draw and reccur. but they are slow and mana intensive.  The deck grows and builds, if chipped away it slowly grows back.  Single threats that shut down specific decks. Will have more potential dead cards in main and sideboard

Klown's deck is more of a paragon type build.  Cutting a lot of the traditional cards to make the deck more redundant.   This deck does not grow it explodes.  If it is chipped away it explodes back.  But it can only boom so many times, after its fire is gone, the deck cannot come back.  Multiple threats that effect a broader set of decks.  Less dead cards main, less total bombs.

I'm gonna use this time and everyone's attention to put in my 2.5 cents worth.  These are my opinions.  These are not facts.  Magic is a game of creativity and personality.  Certain cards and deck choices fit certain players better.

SCROLL RACK 2 or 3?:  It is generally agreed that the correct amount of scroll racks is 2.5!  unfortunately one must run either 2 or 3.  K run's build runs 2 Klown ops for the 3.
3 ensures you get rack out early. with multiple taxes out you can also exploit two racks quicker.  Tax/rack/tax/rack again.

REPLENISH/DIGGER?: Ok this shows a major difference in the styles of the decks.  Its like the old keeper argument of blessings and Yawg's Will.  One can reccur infinately, and can reccur anything.  The other reccurs only once, and only enchantments, but when it does reccur... it will usually win the game.  Klown runs 3 replenishes and a 4th and a digger in the side.  K-run runs 1 replenish and a digger main and an extra replenish in the side.  My friend cullen runs 2 replenishes in the main and a 3rd in the side with his digger.  again I would love to run 2.5 replenishes main.  2 is good, 3 is better but makes you cut something.  I run 3 replenishes and have tailored my deck and side to exploit it more with more seals and auras.

BLOODMOON:  You don't even need to run a mountain to get out the moon with a petal, diamond, and lotus, and finds and replenish.  I have to dissagree with K run on this point.  Bloodmoon maindeck is a must.  This becomes more important with TNT and with all the fetchlands being used in Keeper and almost all aggro decks.  Bloodmoon shuts down the fetchlands and gives parfait a serious threat against keeper and  aggro zoo type builds.

AURA OF SILENCE/SEAL OF CLEANSING: I love an early aura against any deck but aggro.  3 replenishes let you reuse the aura's.  Aura is superior to Seal, but Seal is quicker.  2 auras main is agreed to be a must.

ORIM'S CHANT/ABEYANCE:  Here is another example of multifunctionality.  Chant is the clear winner.  2 white for the aggro time walk.  1 white during their upkeep stops suicide's discard, better is chant inreponse to their ritual...  Abeyance's draw effect is not as useful as the timewalk effect anf stopping all spells. 4 Chants are a must.

SWORDS TO PLOWSHARE: 3 or 4?  3.5?  I like 4 personally with TNT and aggro becoming more powerful. I think only Klown runs 3 with one in the side.  4 total is a must.

IVORY TOWER: I love this card and I am actually experimenting with a janky planar collapse and 2 towers main deck version.  With taxes, taxes and two towers, sligh can throw their entire deck at you and you can still put a big ol W next to your name. To use K-run's pharse though this is often a win more card.

KARMIC JUSTICE: This card is god post sideboard and it is the whole pantheon of greco-roman deities in multiples with a replenish.  I like two in the side. I would like one in the main but I just can't fit it in.  Awesome Vs. sligh with anarchies and shaman

ABOLISH:  I preferrer Seal over abolish as seal is reuseable and tutorable.  Again this is a preference and playing style call.

CRYPT: 3 total at least is agreed upon.  Seems like Klown and I are the only ones on the 4 total bandwagon.  Gives you tech against fast graveyard combo decks that you would not have otherwise.

MOAT/LIGHT OF DAY: I actually do not like either of these cards.  Moat plus humility is bad.  Humility stops shamans, welders and lyrist, moat does not.  Light of day only works on black decks.  Humility works on all critter decks.

CLEANSING MEDITAION: I don't like it because I cannot reuse it or tutor for it. Extra Aura's and Seals are better, esp with 3 replenishes.

JESTER'S CAP: Too slow.

AEGIS OF HONOR: Only works against sligh effectively.  Mask does it better.

SCRYING GLASS: its ass, plain and simple.

STORY CIRCLE: I think one is enough.  I don't like the COPs because they only hit certain decks.  Story Circle stops a whole lot more stuff.

PARIAH: This is only really great against negator and even then its not as great as humility.  its 3 mana.  4 give you humility.

SPIRIT LINK: better than Pariah in my opinion.  Negates the negator, and turns flesh reaver into a like gain engine for you.
I like it but I can't make the room for it over cards that are superior.

Well I think I have about said my piece.
Thanks for listening to the rant.  Again I am big fans of both Klown and K run I am not trying to trash anyone.

Just call me the peace keeper.

Thanks

Nice writeup. That goes in my save file.

The few places we differ come all at the end.

Scrying Glass is good.
I like knowing what's coming, and it's cheap to put out there.
It may be ass in this deck, in fact I don't run it here, but it's not always ass.

Story Circle over Circle of n, no doubt, but I want one main and one on the side.

Pariahing Negator is just too much fun to pass up.
OK, I'll think about it.
Humility is indeed good against many more decks.
There's a whole game's worth of difference between 3 and 4 mana, though.
Rit/Negator goes Sinkhole swing, swing, swing, and runs into Pariah.
I'm at 5, and he's stopped.
If it's Humility, he's swung once more, and I'm dead.

Thanks Pernicious Dude

Whenever I played keeper against parfait I was never scared of scrying glass.  I play a haunting echoes main deck so all I had to do was nuke the mask and nueter the deck.
NOW...
with bloodmoon main deck I fear parfait.  It is no longer the wait it out match.  Any chant could turn out to be lotus,  moon or any other fast combination.

Here again is another lengthy thread on cards that are the variences between the decks and sideboards.
The following are my opionins, so if I say scrying glass is ass, I am saying it because I have never found it as efficent as other options, also it rhymes!

As I said before with my playing style, Klown's build works better for me.  My concern is having answers that only work for one or two threat, I would rather have answers that work against a variety of threats.

REPLENISH: at the extreme least 2 main deck, some in the side it is good against counter, the mirror, sligh with anarchy, discard, and any deck with enchantment removal...

BLOODMOON: with everyone and their uncle using fetchlands for deck thinning, bloodmoon is much less likely to be a dead card in any match up.  Moon is god against keeper, tnt, gro, zoo, and other non basic land decks.  Hell its even good against Tainted mask since they run snowcoverd swamps.

KARMIC JUSTICE:  Its the anti-sideboard card, or maindeck depending on your metagame.  It goes in against their removal: anarchy, shaman, disenchant effects, deed, disk, keg, sinkhole, paragon's buyback's, and it rocks the mirror.  If you can get out multiples the effect goes up.  they monkey your zorb, you take out the monkey and a land...

PARIAH: Pariah is really cute against negator.  But they can play around it.

AEGIS OF HONOR: Only good against burn, doesn't work against cursed scroll or grim lavamancer, ivory tower and mask work better an require no mana.

IVORY MASK: those who cut this from the deck deserve all that happens to them.  it shuts down almost half of sligh, stops discard, and so many combo decks. Ivory mask stops the following important cards from wrecking you:

Tormod's Crypt!
Mind twist
Stroke/Geyser as kill
Duress
Hymn
Unmask
Intuition!!!! it targets the player who chooses the cards
Haunting Echoes
Lobotomy
Extract
Jester's Cap
Triskelion
Pandemonium
Bolt/Chain/Fireblast/etc.
Black vise when coming in
Aura of silence when coming in
and a host of other stuff I am probably missing.  I like one main and a second in the side for combo matchups

ABOLISH: really good card against a whole lot of decks, but it is not an enchantment and can be misdirected.

SEAL OF CLEANSING: I use this in place of abolish because I can abuse it more with replenish and find.  This is a play style choice.  They cannot misdirect the seal, and with replenish it can de very useful in the mirror and opposing enchantment reccursion.

SOLDEVI DIGGER: great card for the long drawn out games.  but only really great against control.  I think bloodmoon and replenish do more against a variety of decks.

MOAT: awesome card and should again return its place to the main deck... of keeper.  Moat with humility sucks ass.  Parfait can run humility were keeper can't. Humility shuts down all creatures great and small and only grounds your boys.

HUMILITY: DA WRECKER!!!!  superior to moat and light of day.

COP:X: not a fan of the COPs since they only hit one color.  the only cops that are commonly used are red and black and you have better answers to both that also answer other decks

IVORY TOWER: good against all aggro but suicide.  2 towers and active tax shut down sligh pretty well.  Works on trix pretty well too.  Sit back and gain silly life vs control.

GOLDEN WISH: way too expensive, plus it encourages the use of more hyper specific threats in the board.  I will never play it.

JESTER'S CAP: wwwwaaaaayyyy tttooooooo ssssssllllllooooooowwwwwwww.  You have better bombs vs control and combo.

sidenote for parfait players.  If you play in an area where people are familiar with the long drawn out power of parfait and you often recieve concessions after you drop the bombs on them.  When you side board, board out the mesa's if you want to bring in two more cards against them.  There is nothing funnier than shutting down you opponents deck and having them scoop... when you have no way of killing them left! (except drawing out their deck, you can survive with scroll rack.)

No more deck listing!!!!! with different names!!!!

It's Parfait, with like 5 different cards.

Unless you decide to start killing with Soldier tokens, or send over the clerics for the kill it's parfait.

Unless you make it 3 colors with a slash of blue and a bunch of enchantments, it's parfait.

Unless you cut a color and add Mishra's , it's parfait.

Your only going to confuse people.

I think that parfait might seriously need to add Red to the build for Blood Moon.  I think the need has become more then justified.  After cutting Serra Santum, there is just no more good reason not to.

It might have the Tax Rack trick in it but it is still just white control, and it has to control to win.  If Keeper is going to twist away your hand you can atleast threaten to lock out his lands.

They have to fear something???  And a slow ass cap don't scare me, so why sould it scare them?

Blood Moon does not affect Snow-Covered Lands.  They are basic for all purposes except those that specify Snow-Covered Lands.

Spin 13: yeah my bad, and intuition doesn't target anymore either,  it "chooses".  how freaking stupid is that.  What's next?

Pearly Mask. "you cannot be the choice of spells or abilities."

Alabaster Mask: "you cannot be selected by spells or abilities."
