Hi i have a parfait deck but i don't like how slow it is so i have decided i may want to try out
Holy Tommy Gun instead. Before i go out and purchase the cards i wanted to make some suggestions as to (possible) card choices. I will try to say why i believe each card is good but i am not omniscient so i want to know what ideas are good and why.
Most of the cards suggested would go in the place of, in my opinion, Order of the white shield because i feel that that is the weakest creature.
1. Goblin Legionaire
WR Creature - Goblin Soldier (2/2)
, Sacrifice Goblin Legionnaire: Goblin Legionnaire deals 2 damage to target creature or player.[W], Sacrifice Goblin Legionnaire: Prevent the next 2 damage that would be dealt to target creature or player this turn.
This card might create difficulties on the current mana base by adding more need for red. It also has no protection from black which makes it more susceptible to burn.
On the pluscide(made up word) once in play it becomes standing removal, burn, or prevention. Two damage can finish a player off or kill any of the many 1 or 2 butt creatures currently in the format. As a bonus the damage does not cause the creature to tap so it can block a four toughness creature and trade with it. The preventing of the two damage can get you an extra turn by making the other side wait to get enough offense set up to bring you to negative two. In that period you may be able to force through enough damage for the win. Its a 2/2 beater while its waiting anyways.
Whipcorder: WW Creature - Soldier Rebel (2/2)
W, Tap: Tap target creature. Morph W (You may play this face down as a 2/2 creature for 3. Turn it face up any time for its morph cost.)
This guy also does not have the protection or the pump ability of the knight but i think his ability is more effective, as well as cheaper than the knights. For tapping him and one white each turn you can neutralize any targetable (damn morphling) creature in the game no matter what the size. That can also buy you time to force through lethal damage. It can also tap a blocker to save an attacking creature.
Tethered Falcon (the darkhorse):
W Creature - Griffin (2/3)
Flying
When you control no enchantments, sacrifice Tethered Griffin.
There are only 6 enchantments in the deck but if this can hit turn two things are looking bad for the other team, especially since it can come with a twin on that turn. Of course without an enchantment it is useless but because land tax is essential a mulligan may be in order occasionally to try to get one
I also feel that the split card Chaos/Order could go in the the deck or sideboard because although its expensive it could be a game breaker
