I see you have added Chalice of the Void to the deck.Would it be better served to keep the Powder Kegs in the deck vs Ensnaring Bridges? What have your experience been with the Ensnaring Bridges? I am trying to figure out myself what is best to take out to fit in the Chalice of the Void.
@pisquared
Powder Kegs are okay, but I find most of the time when I kill stuff, I lose too many of my artifacts. Its also too slow for me sometimes. Ensnaring Bridge has stopped me from the creatures dealing damage while I get my lock up. When I gain full control, I just sac the Bridge to Smokestack or Weld it out and go all the way with Karn. Chalices play a big role in my environment since I play a lot of burn, Chalice set to 1 is a big threat for my opponent.

@crater hellion
I do use artifact lands, in my environment, their isn't much hate towards against nonbasics so they generally help me towards my metalworker, welding it out, academy, etc. Storage Matrix, would seem like a weak Tangle Wire, it really doesn't help the lock while Smokestack slowly eats away most of your opponents permanents.

@Charles Xavier, Goblin Charbelcher is a MUCH slower kill. Nevertheless, Charbelcher is still a good win condition. Its immune to creature removal, and it ownz in the Mirror Match. You can just decimate their Goblin Welders and Karns. In fully powered meta games, the wMUD player using 3 Goblin Charbelcher will be victorious over 2 Karn, Silver Golem. So, arguably, Charbelcher is the way to go for the Mirror Match.

I've been having a lot of success with Budget wMUD myself. With Chalice, i've had zero problems with any form of Budget Aggro. I think we can safely move Ensnaring Bridge and Powder Keg to the Side Board, or just remove them alotgether.
The Main Deck Blood Moons are incredibly good, and are an awesome replacement for the 2 Winter Orbs ... which were only good vs Control and absolutely awful without Workshops.

Here is my current list, competing in a fully powered meta game.

4xTangle Wire
4xSphere of Resistance
4xChalice of the Void

4xGoblin Welder

Kill

2xKarn, Silver Golem

Bombs

2xBlood Moons

4xWaste Land
1xTolarian Academy
4xAncient Tomb
4xCity of Traitors
7xMoutain
1xGrim Monolith
1xSol Ring
1xMana Vault
1xMana Crypt
1xMox Diamond
1xLotus Petal

Hi,

 I have been doing a little testing with this deck post-Mirrodin
and prefer Chalice of the Void over the Kegs. The main purpose of the Kegs is against Moxes and weenies, because medium-large artifacts and creatures are managed by the Smokestacks and the Bridges, and this function is performed better and faster by the Chalice.

 What do you think to add a touch of blue replacing the Mountains by Cities-Underground Seas-Glimmervoids in order to play with Tinker and maybe some draw power? I think that this can provide broken combinations: Tinker-Memory Jar
or maybe the possibility to add other broken high-costed artifacts to the deck like the Mindslaver with this and a welder easily can play several consecutive turns as a path to the victory.

Anyone have tested a Voltaic key in this deck ? It have great synergy with Mana Vault-Grim Monolith and can create broken first turns with them or Mana Crypt-Sol Ring.
