Okay. to all of you that enjoy coming to our mox tournaments I have a question.  IT's been proposed to me by my lovely boss that The Gathering MAY start having high prize cash tournaments.  Nothing nearthe grand ones or whatever other people have been saying but several hundred towards first, hundred to second or whatever, of course depending on the cash income from you all coming in.  it would be an almost complete cash profit event but entry fee would be 10 dollars or 15 or whatever.  We're hoping it works out cus we want you guys down here like every other weekend for something like this  .  Each month we have 4 days that we want to have big events.   Every saturday.   One of them is our monthly mox tourney.  another is a "semi" large two headed giant one.  and the other 2 days are still open.  two days that we want to fill with a tournament like this.

We should sanction these tournies rather than allow proxies, as Pat isn't possibly going to be losing money if he just takes the entry money and puts it into prizes.

edit: ah now I get it.. by bimonthly you meant twice a month not every 2 months.

that would be something that people here especially would vote on.  That would be something yet to be determined but a definite possibility.  John,  are you on 24/7 or does it just seem like it like me?  haha

I'd make the trip when I could, but chances are there'd be other power tournaments on the same day that I'd rather be going to.

Not saying it can't work, just saying it'll be a lot more work than Pat wants to do to make it not coincide with other tournaments.

That's true- but that's why cash is a good option for these tourneys. He can't lose money. I think sanctioned is the way to go.
