It's German... But speaking of Japan... Which is a shame too, since the Kasumi-chan blue Xbox looks really cool

Wait, so let me get this straight...it's a video game where you have to do household chores and other mundane annoyances like bathe, work, buy shit for the female and change out of your sweatpants in order to get at the V?
Wow.
This ranks right up there with Turbo Cubicle 4000, where you have to adeptly micromanage and brown-nose your way into an innefectual middle-management position at your irrelevent office job. Features include: tie selection, focus group, power lunch and multitasking.

...and yet, The Sims is the best selling computer game of all time. A phenomenon which I will continue to marvel at while visiting the same wonderland of infinite porn that kl0wn does: t3h int4rw3b. Seriously, a game that simulates having a life is taking the whole "I play computer games in the absence of a real social calendar" thing a bit far, isn't it?

Japan is taking over the world. If hentai dating sims work in Japan, there's sure to be enough antisocial losers to make for a good market elsewhere.

I also resent the game creator's implicit assumption that doing houshold chores such as cleaning the room and taking out the trash etc. leads to sex.

And not only that, but The Sims is played much, much more by women than by men.

Games like this are so pointless. They're all nothing but adventures in being an accountant-- like the Sims and SimCity, all you really do is keep track of a checkbook for hours at a time and call it fun.
"Conan, what is best in life?"
"To keep track of minutia, to create fake people with superior social lives, and to change your e-kitty's e-litter."
SO LAME.
