The only girl I've ever been really emotionally involved with was blonde, but thinking about what celebrities I'm attracted to most (which is a good way to figure out your purely physical preferences without emotions getting in the way), I went for brunette.

In theory I'm a big redhead fan, but in practice it's not a big deal. Red hair is more like an automatic +1 to the 1-10 hotness scale, but it's less important than several other features.

I don't know... the truth of the matter is that I tend to evaluate a woman's attractiveness wholistically rather than by individual parts. Sure, a woman can have really nice XYZ, but that's only a part of it. I like longer hair generally, but I have seen some VERY beautiful women with hair shorter than mine (as a frame of reference, I don't need a comb because my hair is short). Large breasts are great, but I've seen some amazing women with smaller breasts. I think the only constant feature I like is a nice, round ass and good curves. Even that's not 100% though-- I prefer a bit of the "bubble butt" but that's not a guarantee at all-- I dated a girl who was 4'11" and weighed 95 pounds for a while.
All that really matters is the wholistic approach, and I include personality and intelligence in that as well. I'd MUCH rather be with (or on a more superficial level, have sex with) a woman I can stand to be around than a super hot chick who has nothing else to offer beyond her appearance. Women like that can make decent eye candy, but I don't like to be around them if I can help it-- they piss me off too much to be worthwhile.

I second the wholistic approach to judging female attractiveness. Hair color is far less important than just about everything else... But presumably we're not talking about women we want to have a relationship with; traits like personality, interests in common, etc don't really apply. So let's not confuse the issue. We're talking about which chicks we'd rather see on http://www.ratepornmovies.com, blondes, brunettes or red heads. And we assume all other characteristics are equal, ie. breast quality, hip to waist ratio, roundness of ass, etc. Personally, I'd take brunettes. |

Red heads can take a really awful turn for the worse and end up uglier than either blondes or brunettes. With that said, I prefer brunettes because in the dark it stands apart from skin tones the best and I like to know where to aim.
