Mask, I have to question whether you bother to read other people's posts.  Many people have posted links to the relevant rules (the Helm-Capsize example seemed pretty relevant to me) and you still argue the point.  Fireball's casting cost is {R}{X}{Y}, so I'm not sure where you get infinite targets from.  Helm reduces this total.  Doesn't anyone here remember playing blue bounce decks with [card]Sapphire Medallion[/card]?

But, a good point's been made about getting this thread back on topic.
The last decklist posted looked like a good place to start.  One thing that popped into mind was dropping a Glimmervoid for a Chrome Mox; I don't think you'll miss the land too much.

right, back on topic....you guys make a good point.

ok, I think you need to cut down to 60.  I would say you look a little land heavy.  playing 61 cards so you can play an extra land is definately sub-optimal.  chrome mox would also be a good addition as LoA suggested.  I really think brainstorm goes in this deck.  maybe instead of two impulses and a meditate you could put 3 brainstorms, but I'm not sure I really like that either.

I also think you need to add Grim monolith-power artifact to your build.  it gives you an alternate infinite mana combo that you can use under back to basics or bloodmoon if you have a mox sapphire or a lotus avialable.  it just adds a second option that you can step to if you have some kind of problem with your academy combo.

so to sum up:
find room for brainstorm somehow
chrome mox fits your deck better then land
get down to 60 cards.

Cut some meditates.  They're too situational.  If you don't play them on the critical turn, they give your opponent too much of an edge.
