I play Type I because I can only spend so much time on Magic. Type II seems to consume too much to be good at, and I like the benefit of not playing Magic for a bit and coming back with my cards still legal.

I play type 1 because its, overall, been much more fun and challenging than any other format. The larger cardpool=more room to create. And there's no MTG feeling quite like using ur 10 dollar R/G beat deck to take out Keeper.

As far as I can remember, I liked it that I can use nearly all cards... Nothing more, nothing less...

Because everything standard, block and draft became boring after Invasion left the formats.  I really hated when everyone here played Psychatog and Madness in Type 2.  Every match, same two decks!

I started playing because I saw these kids playing Pokemon in Toys 'r Us.  My cousin convinced me to play that, so I did.  Noone else did so I stopped.

A few years laster I went to a high school after school club ran by a teacher (yes, a teaher) and brought all my pokemon stuff in.  All the guys there (alden, andy, lovett, boyle, phil) converted me to magic.  I had this pathetically good G/U Levitation/Rhox/Blastoderm deck that wasn't to bad for someonw whho had no basic lands for their first 4 months of gameplay.  Yeah, deck building was REAL hard back then....

Type 2 is the equivalent of racing with Honda Civics and Jetta's, with the occasional Chevette thrown in the mix.

Type 1 is racing with Vipers, Z-28's and Corvettes.

I hate Civics. Smile

Type 1 racing with z-28's is like playing partially powered.

Fully powered T1 is like racing with Aston Martins, Porsches, and such.  There is nothing like it - and once you do it, you will never go back.
