The Great Yonder 1GG
Sorcery

Search your library for five land cards and reveal them. Target opponent puts them into two piles. Choose a pile. Put that pile into your hand and the other one into your graveyard. Shuffle your library afterward.

Out in the wilderness, the beautious terrain stretches as far as your mind.

A nice little land searching spell with good flavor....The cc may need some adjusting.

I know this won't happen in a tournament, but if my opponent has Chaos Orb in his hand while I'm controlling his turn from a Mindslaver, who flips the card if I force him to play it and activate it?

The casting cost seems perfect, considering the GG mana, but you might want to increase the cc to 4 - because this, in combination with fx Fast Bond, be devastating. It nets you 3 land, at least, for 1GG, while Sylvan Scrying does two for 2G - and haves entwine, sure, but still.. Crucible of worlds, anyone?

Perhaps the other pile should be removed from the game?

Well, this might give you three cloudposts when you search for four of them and a glimmervoid. Or it gives two and the void, which is good, too.

Fastbond already breaks lots of stuff, so I don't even think that's a good argument anymore. Having the rest removed is a good option, though.

"Search four Wastelands and Library of Alexandria."

Ouch. That's too harsh, I think. Maybe just have it look for four lands, and then not have it remove the non-chosen pile? That breaks the funny mirror with FoF, though.

I think reducing it to four cards solves any troubles, too.

Then, you can still get:
- a single good land and thinning
- three other lands at the cost of never drawing your good land again
- two wastelands

Seems fine to me.
