this is the first card ive tried to make so id appriciate any input you all might have

When burst of thought comes into play search your library for up to 3 cards and remove them from the game. As long as Burst of thought is in play you may play those cards as though they were in your hand

needs flavor text and i think it might need new name. Am unsure if it might be too powerful

Too strong. At 2 cards and fading 3 it might be ok.

This card seems inordinantly powerful if you have more than the next turn to use the cards. Even with just one turn to use it, it can generate some amazing card advantage. Suppose you get a little bit of acceleration and can play it on the third turn. Dig up Ancestral Recall and 2 Accumulated Knowledge. As long as you get your land drop on the fourth turn, you've thinned your deck by three card-drawing spells, spent four spells total, and drawn a total of six cards. You've translated four "temporary" cards into six permanent ones that are almost subsequently more likely to be business spells. As far as pseudo-card drawing goes, I'd feel this was more balanced if you didn't get to search for the cards. If you remove the top 3 cards from your library and have 4 turns to play them, I think it'd be more fair.

Of course, if the enchantment is removed, the cards are gone. That's a pretty significant risk.

You should really make the most recent version bold, the easier to see it, my dear.

This version has some rules problems, such as: if you draw a card, then Brainstorm it back to the top of the library, then draw it again with Archivist or something, do you get to keep it? Also, without some sort of hand-revealing, how would anyone know that the card you discarded was in fact the card you drew off the ability?

My problem with the card as opposed to three wishes is that you can set up three disgusting turns:

Ancestral, Time Walk, Yawgmoth's Will - or cards of that nature.  You'll also get multiple turns in a row.  In order to not be broken, it needs to be not blue, not just any cards (say cards of the same type), and not fading four or even three (possibly 2).

Alternatively, in Combo you could get: Black Lotus, Mana Crypt, and LED and generate more mana than it cost.
