Note to Mods: I know there is a Battle of Wits thread way down, but it is for Type One and the last reply was over a month ago.

I am needing to construct a Battle of Wits deck for Extended, and I need ideas for card choices and general strategy.

Heres a list of what I have come up with so far(I'm aiming for 250 cards):

MANA-100
Fetches
Painlands
4 Mirrodin's Core
Basics
- Need serious help here, what other lands would work well here?

SPELLS- 150
4 Mystical Tutor
4 Enlightened Tutor
4 Vampiric Tutor
4 Duress
4 Counterspell
4 Fact or Fiction
4 Brainstorm
4 Mana Leak
4 Battle of Wits
4 Isochron Scepter
4 Fire/Ice
4 Tainted Pact
4 Accumulated Knowledge
4 Diabolic Edict
4 Flametongue Kavu
4 Academy Rector
4 Cabal Therapy
4 Browbeat
4 Moments Peace
4 Holistic Wisdom

many more open slots!

Other than blue, what colors should I focus on? Should I go creatureless, or play some critters? Does the deck function better going more control or does it play better, combo-style? Is the 100/150 ratio of spells correct? This deck needs serious help. Thanks to all.
