My little experiment:
To build a series mono color decks based on type 1 card pool and they must be balanced and has a good chance(40~60%) to beat each other.  The goal of this  format is to play the decks without sideboard and hate that everyone will enjoy any deck they pick from this series.  Therefore this format will be good for several friends play together casually without slam the cards whenever Tendrils meets Rootmaze or Charbelcher meets Null Rod.  The mainly reason for making this format mono color simply for budget reason since dual lands are not that easy to get.  Also there are too much unbalance when a deck uses two colors.  Moreover, forcing to use mono color will let people to explore more in magic's card pool.  Enough talking, let's post some nice mono color decks here.

Mono White- Parfait!!

Creature control:
4 Swords to Plowshares
2 Humility
1 Wrath of God
1 Balance

Enchanment and Artifact removal:
3 Aura of silence
2 Abolish

Draw engine:
4 Land Tax
3 Scroll rack

Win condition:
2 Sacre Mesa

Life gain:
2 Ivory Tower
2 Zuran Orb

Others:
4 Orim's Chant
4 Argivian Find
1 Enlighten Tutor
1 Tormod's Crypt

Mana Source:
1 Mox Diamond
1 Chrome Mox
1 Sol Ring
1 Lotus petal
1 Strip mine
18 Plains

I wanted to add  Isochron Scepter in this deck, but it is too broken against creature decks, and too slow against fast combo decks. It's too unbalanced therefore I decided cut that out.

Mono Blue- Fish!!

Creature:
4 Manta Riders
4 Rootwater Thief
4 Lord of Alantis
4 Cloud of Faerie
2 Waterfront Bouncer

Counters and other disruption:
4 Force of Will
2 Misdirection
2 Echoing Truth
2 Psionic Blast

Draw engine:
4x Curiousity
4x Standstill

Mana Source:
4 Mishras Factory
4 Faerie Conclave
1 Stripmine
15 Island

Waterfront Bouncer, Psionic Blast and Echoing Truth are null rods and stifles in the tournament build, maybe I tone this deck down too much, any suggestions?

Mono black- Animate Dragon!

Reanimate spell:
4 Dance of the dead
4 Animate dead

Searching engine:
4 Spoils of the vault
1 Vampric Tutor
1 Demonic tutor
1 Demonic consultation
1 Entomb
4 Buried Alive

Disruption:
4 Duress
4 Cabal Therapy

Combo piece:
3 Ambassador Laquatus
3 Worldgorger Dragon

Mana Source:
1 Mana Crypt
1 Sol Ring
1 Lotus Petal
4 dark ritual
16 Swamp
3 Ancient Tomb

My friend once asked about Ambassador Laquatus and Worldgorger Dragon:  Are they black spells?  My answer is:  I only use them as tools.  Therefore it's possible for Survival the Fittest + Squee Nabob and others in this format too!

Mono Red- Goblin!

Creature:
4 Goblin Cadets
4 Goblin Lackey
4 Mogg Fanatic
3 Mogg Flunkies
4 Goblin Piledriver
4 Grim Lavamancer

Burns:
4 Chain Lightning
4 Lightning Bolt
4 Goblin Grenade
3 Fireblast

More speed:
4 Reckless Charge

Mana source:
4 Bloodstained Mire
4 Wooded Foothills
10 Moutain

Simple and fast, any questions?

I almost have all types of deck in this format:  White is control, Blue is aggro, Black is combo and Red is Beatdown.  Ideally Green should be prison to complete my cycle.  But I am just clueless about how to make a green prison deck...

Please keep in mind:

1.  Only do this in your home!  Playing these decks without a lot of tuning for the metagame in type 1 is suisidal.  And some of these decks simply could not win in current type 1 Crying or Very sad

2.  Don't add hosers like Chill or Red Elemental Blast in mono color decks or they become pointless against the wrong color.

3.  I am a little hesitated about allowing wishes in this format because then I will need a sideboard.  Something like Cunning Wish, Burning Wish, Living Wish and even Death Wish is too good to give up.  Maybe allow sideboard if using these wishes is a good idea then.

Anyway, post any mono color deck you like: white weenie, high tide, pox, ankh sligh, stompy and anything it's possible to beat the other in this format will be nice.  Well, you can do your own mono color cycle too!

I think that this would be a good format, except the rules need to be hard ones. Therefor, I don't think that dragon should be allowed. BTW, the red list should really be changed into gobvantage.

gobvantage?
I dont have the list...  Is that good without blue or green for additional draw or combo?  Without drawing, it seems to be very slow.  Just imagine Parfait player lay a Humility on turn three and you are drawing only one goblin per turn...  Or fish player use stilfe against goblin recruiter...

About Fish, it should + 3 Daze, + 2 Stifle and - 1 island, - 2 waterfront bouncer, - 2 Psionic blast.  Daze and Stifle are simply powerfy if you know how to use them.

Should this format be more strict?  Really no any other color should allow even you dont hard cast them at all???

Maybe you should replace the Mono-Black Dragon with Chalice Black. If you need a good build, here's mine:

Lands (22):

4 Mishra’s Factory
1 Strip Mine
13 Swamp
4 Wasteland

Creatures (8):

4 Nantuko Shade
4 Phyrexian Negator

Other Spells (30):

4 Chalice of the Void
4 Dark Ritual
1 Demonic Consultation
1 Demonic Tutor
4 Duress
4 Hymn to Tourach
1 Lotus Petal
1 Necropotence
4 Sinkhole
1 Sol Ring
4 Sphere of Resistance
1 Yawgmoth’s Will

Could you give a well-argumented answer on why the hell to play Chalice Black over Dragon?

As stated before the "dragon" in dragon represents a 7/7 flying RED [/u]creature.  Yes, World Gorger Dragon is in fact a red card and thus the deck is no longer monochromatic.

Other than that I really don't think there are any reasons to play Chalice Black over Dragon
