3cb is back...

evening all...

Sorry for my (and, resultantly, 3cb's) prolonged abscence from these forums. My internet connection at home is, to do it justice, crap, and has been giving me grief for the last few weeks. However, the intarweb is now running wild and free again, so I can get back to posting. Give me a few days to sort out my stuff again at school, and we'll be back in business. Discussion would be great, though. Here are a few points to start off with:

 - Is there enough mileage left in the previous banned list?
 - If yes, should we do that list immediately?
 - Is the limited set idea any good, or is it getting boring?
 - If the latter, then what other ideas are there?

I like the limitations on sets. It allows a number of cards that otherwise would be ground down to shine.

I agree - let's work our way down from block to block until we catch up to fifth dawn, and at that point determine new metagame decisions.

"Limited sets works well for now.  Once we've done them all we could try other stuff.

I still think that 3cb gets broken w/ land destruction, discard.  If you can eliminate those, I think it becomes a fairly even playing field.  Hence, my support of the small banned list (rack, etc as necessary), and then you can't target lands, or force the opponent to discard a card.
