I can't quite believe there is not an insta-playable wall printed yet... and yeah, this is a common white creature for the TMD set.

W as a CC is fine. For reference, Steel Wall, Mirrodin. Playable as instant is not that hot, yet nice.

This actually sticks around, so it's fundamentally different. Tidal Wave could've just read: Deal 5 dmg to target attacking creature. That creature deals no damage this turn.
