well, we've both got some travel coming up starting tomorrow, so I wanted to do it this past weekend. Plan A was to get a nice hotel room downtown chicago (we do this every month or two to just have a nice getaway in our own city) on Saturday night, but she's been sick for like a week and just getting better, so that wasn't going to work. Plan B was going out to a nice dinner on Saturday and then either a horse carriage ride or boat ride on saturday night...but unfortunately I got sick friday night and had a fever all day saturday, so that got nixed.
Plan C was to make my apartment romantic (candles, etc) and when I picked her up from the spa day I got her for her birthday, I brought her in and asked.....

Yah, once you hit mid-late 20's, you just start getting paired off.....I'm 26 and she's 25 and from last summer to this fall we've been to/will go to 10 weddings of just our closer friends....
the nice part is tomorrow we leave for the Virgin Islands (St John) for a week for one of my close high school friend's wedding...so now we have something extra to celebrate..

I read this quickly, after 6 hours of bar review courses, and in an act of transference, I thought it said: "I am now enraged!"
I read the thread and I was baffled, why is Dante so mad about getting married. Then....it....hit....me
Congradulations! Don't believe those people that make fun of you for getting married they either a) don't like their wife; or b) realize they can never get one. I have been married for five years and I love it.
