[Card Discussion] Multani's Presence- Is it a viable option?

I was Smmenen's latest article about the top decks in t1 and when I got the Gro-A Tog section, he posted a piece of his primer on the deck from last year, where he sideboarded Multani's Presence. I had no idea what the card did until I looked it up, but after giving it some consideration, the card seems to have decent potential. All of the top decks in the format, sans FCG run at least Force of Will, if not more countermagic. Tog, GAT, 4c control, and Control Slaver all run Mana Drain. Fish runs Stifle and Daze. With all the countermagic floating around, could this card potentially find a home in the sideboards of decks like Big-O or WTF? Just for reference, heres what Multani's Presence does:

If I were to fight counters with a G costing card, it would be Xantid Swarm.  It means they can't counter your spells at all, which is a lot better, and it also means they don't get tempo boosts from things like Mana Drain.

It took me less than 30 seconds to find that thread using the search function with "WTF" as the input.

Presence only triggers if something actually gets countered.
It's typically going to draw you a couple of cards,
and have no effect on the game state.
You're an aggro deck, and drawing a card or two is not a threat.
