I'd like to congratulate PandaPokemon as the winner of 3CB Tournament #35 A lot of storage-land decks this time around, which gave the window for one of the least efficient processor.decs I've seen take first place by some distance! There were no winners of the mise-prize, although pyromaniac wasn't far away.

Again, no second decks. The high percentage of storage-land.dec meant that the most powerful turn2.dec won the tournament. The vineyard decks proved ineffective as they made the inefficient decks become that bit quicker. Ought to be an interesting metagame for next time, though, although we still haven't had one that doesn't change as of yet - although this change was not anticipated by many who brought workshop-hate decks. Lets see what happens in the next one!
No changes to the banned list from here, do people agree? Please post corrections/discussions.

How do I lose against CmdrSam? Swamp Mosquito does not need to deal damage to deliver poison counters, merely not blocked. I should be 6-0 against him. (yay, not last place) Poison >> Scalding Tongs.

How exactly did you calculate damage for MoreFling's Donate/Mana Crypt deck? Did you just assume that it would deal its three damage every other turn?

Ephraim, random effects always go in the opponent's favor, so Mana Crypt would deal damage every turn. That rule also kills my Chaos Orb deck, which would have killed everybody. Not that I'm bitter.
EDIT: Wonkey donkey, I just checked the PM I sent you, and I had Mishra's Workshop, not City of Traitors. City was in the Chaos deck, which I didn't use. This does affect some matchups, so I'll check all of my matches and post again.
EDIT2: Okay, matchups:

I think that my deck (#11) should beat MoreFling's deck (#9) then. If the Mana Crypt is his only kill condition, I can destroy it with Nantuko Vigilante.

Ephraim's right. If he uses the Mana Crypt mana, he doesn't die before he can unmorph the Vigilante, even if Morefling goes first.

My deck is ineffcient =( Didn't want to play City of Traitors Sol Ring because of the damn Trinispheres. *sniff* How did I lose to the bottle gnomes deck anyway? Or am I missing something.

Balance goes 50% against everything, and doesn't have too much trouble 6-0-ing against a bunch of decks. So in general, if there are 15+ players, it autowins.

Not all decks. Decks with Nether Spirit it ties, and loses on decks with Dodecapod/Sand Golem (Mirage version, not sure about the name). But in general, its very good deck.

But Dodecapod sucks against anything other than Balance. The metagame's a *little* more diverse than that. And without LED, Spirit decks tend to be shooting for the mize-prize.
LED/Spirit or Violent Eruption/Arrogant Wurm decks were good.

City of Traitors, Anvil of bogardan, N.Spirit ? Too bad the Anvil is banned..
Dodecapod is just metagame card, like Duress, Encroach, Ostracize, Swamp Mosquito, Serenity and the list goes on... Its bad on the metagame now, but it has been useful.
