I have something like that, too. Tempest block felt like it just came out still, although strangely Odyssey felt like it was last it rotated out like ages ago.
I feel EXACTLY the same way. It depresses me.

Looking back, it's hard to believe that the Urza's Block came out six years ago. I'm still inclined to treat it like a "recent" block, even though it's closer to the beginning of Magic than to the present! I have something like that, too. Tempest block felt like it just came out still, although strangely Odyssey felt like it was last it rotated out like ages ago. Urza's and Tempest block are probably two of my favorite blocks ever. Urza's block gave me my favorite card and made my favorite color not embarrasingly bad. By the way, I'm 19 years and 1 day old. I've been playing since September 1996 (the first week of sixth grade). To give you an idea how long I've been playing, I'm now finished with my first year of college.

I feel EXACTLY the same way. It depresses me. It's the same here. I started playing about 1995, but didn't get into tournies until mid-1996. Who says horribly distorted formats don't keep new people in the game?

I do find it interesting that it is hard to tell someone's age by their posting. Being a teenager myself I feel that TMD has improved my writing skills. I looked back at some writing from last year and it was just absolute crap but that was also for school. When it is for Magic my writing style some how improves. And it seems like yesterday that I was drafting Invasion. Oh wait it was. Johnstown713 Oh and being 16 is so sweet.

RESULTS ARE IN: I can say with 95% certainty that there is a significantly larger portion of 15 to 19 year-olds among the Basic Users then among Full Members. Also: there is NO significant difference in the other categories (while there are visible differences, the chance of them not being based on coincidence is <5%)In true statistical research spirit, I will not draw any conclusions from the above statement nor attempt to explain it. That's up to you guys

Oh man I love giving people numbers that don't seem to have any purpose. :)
I should get my MS in Library Science and then go work for the Canadian Bureau of Statistics. (Or Statistics Canada, or whatever they call it now; I swear those entries in the card catalog took me a whole day to go through---I had to have like ten drawers sitting in front of me so I could follow all the interwoven "see" and "see also" references. And don't forget that the departments of a government are sorted by ignoring "Department of", "Bureau of", "Ministry of", etc. but not consistently: "Canada. Ministry of State for Urban Affairs" was filed under "Canada. Urban Affairs". That was intense, I'm telling you.)

It's only after you're 24 that you learn to deal with teenagers.
