Cotv and Flashback

If I play Deep Analysis for it's Flashback cost (1U, pay 3 life), does Cotv (when X is 2) counter the card?

Chalice of the Void comes into play with X charge counters on it.
Whenever a player plays a spell with converted mana cost equal to the number of charge counters on Chalice of the Void, counter that spell.

Converted mana cost = the number in the upper right hand corner. Unless you're dealing with copy effects, this is always true. You'd need a chalice at 4 to counter a DA, no matter how they played it (normally, flashback, Dream Halls, etc).
