Yeah, you can pay extra to get personalized plates. They're called "vanity plates" though.

The TAP one is pretty cool, but since it's 6 characters, I'd probably go for something like: TAPBBB or N0000B or BNHMMR or TOPDCK or MARO4L And even though it's not magic related, I'd check if OMGWTF or PWNAGE is still available  |

The TAP one is pretty cool, but since it's 6 characters, I'd probably go for something like: TOPDCK 99% of people won't see that as "topdeck" ;) Also, I'm pretty sure they censor vanity plates, so you probably can't get anything offensive (sorry Bryce). |

I even considered "WUBRGMC", but that was too big.
Illinois has free vanity plates, as long as you include a number.

The only way I could get my wife to buy a minivan instead of a gas hog SUV that hauls less crap to the dump was to let her get vanity plates.
So now we have this minivan with "SLURPIE" plates in deference to our black lab.
