They should probably be worded like Skulking Ghost. "If a French card is the target of a spell or effect, it surrenders. (Remove this card from the game and tuck your goddamn head between your legs.)" As for sweet lands, the Great Wall and Sunflower Plains are awesome, and so are the original and Ice Age land pictures foiled (the forest is shown):  |

Jacob and I have been privvy to many "pimp heirarchy" decisions when playing while Jeff sorts his many UBER pimp trade binders. As such I feel especially well versed, since well, I have seen the all next to each other, because, as we all know, Jeff's collection is the pimpest of all time.
1. Guru Lands
2. (Very close) Summer Magic
2b. Arabian Mountain (because the scimitar is the coolest expansion symbol ever)
3. Unglued lands (best from a design/layout point of view, some really poor color richness issues)
4. APAC lands (best art, overall)
5. Euro lands
6. Foil Urza's Saga misprints

Alpha is so much better than beta (rounded corners rule) There is a problem with having all of your Basic Lands as Alpha cards if you can tell the difference between them though your sleaves. Not when everything possible in your deck is Alpha in cluding power, duals, etc  |

Best lands in existence:
1. The plains w/the Great Wall of China
2. The Apac 3 Forest with the little house among the trees
3. The Apac 2 Swamp that looks like a flooded cemetary
Coolest lands EVAR. They give a new meaning to pimpness. Also props to Guru and Unglued lands.

2) Singapore: I'm sure that isn't Singapore. I looked it up. According to Magigthegathering.com's Arcana it depicts a landscape from the Philippines: http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=mtgcom/arcana/231Also, does anyone value Portal basic lands? I really like to use them in my decks as some of the artworks by Rob Alexander, John Avon etc. are not otherwise available. And those Portal1 and Portal2 lands are blackbordered as well. |

Best lands of all time: Dutchie Plains (the sunflowers, i think it's actually Japan) GURU Island Beta Island (sunset) APAC lands AN Mountain Unglued That's my order... I love that plains, the art on it is just awesome. Also best basic land of all time besides those mentioned is the Invasion one with the Wheat field and the super sun lensflare ( http://sales.starcitygames.com/customer/product.php?productid=4153&cat=80&page=8) which can be seen there. |

I like the bb forest with the plains picture, I think it's german, wald. The promo 4th islands with the beta picture are also pretty neat.
As for the guru thing. They look neat and are quite rare, not compared to summer magic, but still a rarity; they arent for me though.
