I'm hoping this is in later September.
I'll be in Belgium and Holland the first two weeks.

Also mentionned is the TMD Championship v3...

I totally missed that.

The main event of this shindig/extravaganze/whoop-dee-doo IS the TMD Championship. The second day will be reserved for a highlander power tournament and side events and just generally having a good time in low-stress type formats with fellow TMDers after the big enchilada.

I for one know what it's like to get burned out after a huge event with big prizes on the line, but still have the desire to compete in (albeit less strenuous) events afterwards. That's what Day 2 will be all about. There will also be the potential for more power tournaments to be held in case you're one of those people who feel shafted after getting owned in the main event and you just want another shot. I know I'm one of those people.

Essentially what it boils down to is this: you'd be making one trip for multiple power tournaments. Kinda like GenCon and/or Origins, except with bigger and better prizes, proxies being legal and lodging at like $40/night.

I'm also still taking suggestions for side events if anyone has a pet format they'd like to see represented.

There are also still openings for dealer tables if you want to peddle some cards to a buttload of Magic players.

I could hold a trivia contest, provided the highlander even doesn't take too long.

I was going to volunteer to help with the Jacob...then I realized...I want to play in one for once.

I WILL pwn you all in trivia!

RIP Mogg Fanatic...at least you are still better than Fire Bowman!!!

I was once asked on MWS, what the highest I ever finished at a TMD Open was.  I replied, "I've never played in a Waterbury.  I was then called "A TOTAL NOOB!"

Finally, a use for all my old duelists. Prepare for a real trivia challenge.

So the tentative dates for this thing will be either September 11th-12th, 18th-19th or 25th-26th. Most likely the 18th or 25th dates since I've been slowed down by work lately and haven't been able to get much done and the 11th feels a little too soon (there's also the politics with the American Legion folk and the possibility that they might think that doing something like this on the 11th is in poor taste). The exact date will be decided by the end of the week.

What color should the TMD Championship belt be? We've got the following choices:

Black
Brown
Green
Blue
Red
Silver
Gold
White
