There was, in fact, once a deck called k33p3r. If for no other reason than for historical accuracy, it's silly to remove the word k33p3r from the TMD lexicon. Of course, I tend to be anti-filter in general. I want to be able to say ch3ss, too. The only time I ever found a filter amusing was when the words 'post count' were filtered to 'penis length' at another board I inhabit.

The threads were getting actively annoying because people were starting to actually play chess in this forum, instead of by email or PM or whatever. It was really lame. Other sites exist for other games, TMD is about Type One.
