The card would be either one or the other.

<NAME>
R
Instant
Copy target activated or triggered ability. (Mana abilities can't be targeted)

or

<NAME>
2R
Creature - Wizard
Tap: copy target activated or triggered ability. (Mana abilities can't be targeted)

Hasn't the copying mechanic been moved away from red? See: Mischievous Quanar and Mirari.

Did you know that Red is the color or art and music and passion? Combine that with Green, the color of nature, spiritualism, and community and you get a hippie commune of drum circles, dreamcatchers, and recreational drug use. Let's see that win a Pro Tour.

red recently got that card that copies a spell for each available target.  I think that this would be able to work too.

You would have to throw in the "You may choose new targets for the activated or triggered ability" thing at the end though.

Huh, I woulda figured that is implied. off to oracle I go to check fork!

Oh, also, where is the ability coming from? For instance, fork puts a copy of target spell on the stack, except that the spell copies fork's color.

This is a quandary.

It isn't implied.  If you don't give the option to change targets, then it keeps the original target.

The ability is obviously comming from the spell.  You don't need text like "~this~ puts a copy" etc.

I'd rather see this on the wizard, because it's much weaker and it's reuseable.
