Actually I'm hoping some Meandeckers will show up too. I was wondering if Bushman has managed to pull the Isochron Scepter out of his anus following our Worlds main event match. I'm curious how far up there I got it.

Let's face it we're both good at beating up on the scrubs in our hometowns along with whatever geeky meandeckers make the trip out.

But the fact remains I'm undefeated against shortbus AND meandeck, we'll see who I KO in VA.

We let Shortbus and Meandeck have there fight during the summer, and all the dressed up, and overcompensation threads sure were... well, gay. Well- No more boredom, we'll show you how this is done. Which reminds me, Hadley's Finest sure are having a good time watching as Short Bus picks up our trash. You think Ben is going to give out a bunch of our tech? I don't know if that is the case, but what I do know is I might have laughed for three minutes when I saw he was on your roster.  Well-- if  your only hope is to pick up some stragglers from other teams, then just stay home.

So, yeah-- We'll be there, and all 2 rounds that you're in contention, we'll murder you.

We didn't have your tech when we placed 3 members in the top and took 5 out of the top 10 spots at SCG1.  Adding Ben to fold just allows us to take another top 8 spot.

And while Waterbury is no doubt a great event, which I will like to try to make at some point, chilling at the beach w/ my girlfriend>Waterbury.

Who was it who won that tournament? Beating the great 'PTW' in the semi-finals. Well, I know he wasn't Shortbus, I know he wasn't meandeck, and I know he wasn't Hadley-- But I do know that we spent some time that week playing together making sure he was ready to come out of retirement.

So at SCG1, there was Shrotbus, there was Meandeck, and there was about a million scrubs. Just goes to show, the one guy in the room with a breath of skill learned from hadley technology, had no trouble walking right through your tournament.

This is going to be a different field. There is going to be a whole team of players from the north, and like I said, we got you.

Hadley's finest should be watching; what they're about to see is NOT Shortbus digging through their trash.  Kowal's record speaks for itself, he's got a waterbury win as well as numerous top 8's under his belt. The fact that he was able to aquire as many top 8's and tourney wins as he has while being held back by you northeasterners is simply astounding.  He is very clearly a solid player already.  And to be honest, I can't wait to see what he can do at SCG piloting a TSB deck.  Christ, next year around this time after he's had a chance to train with us, he'll be so far beyond anyone on Hadley that it will hurt your anus just to sit across the table from him.

I think i'm looking forward more to the drinking and silliness than the tournament itself.  Between grilling a zillion hamburgers, watching a 2 hour type 4 draft, and drinking some ungodly amount of beer...  it just might be a good time.  
Meandeck has already requested, and been granted, a place to crash Rian... although if I hear any more homobuttlove in my pool room it'll be the last time...   I was very clear than any meandeck-gang-butt-pillaging of Hi-Val had to be done before they arrived.  Pool cues are for shooting pool, and occasionally spearing zombies.. not for the butt.  And that little circle jerk you guys had totally ruined the Psychatog I left out, so next time bring your own.

What I said was that all the decks I beat in the top 16 of Waterbury were Meandeck decks. I assure you, at least one deck in the top sixteen was not a Meandeck deck.

Well, now that it is official that Ben didn't just make up the Shortbus thing, I am truly astounded. Because back before this all started we here at Hadley just assumed it to be some weird joke. Or, as previously stated- begging. So fine then Ben, it looks like you are being allowed to be in the big leagues again, to stand in the shadow of Phantom Tape Wurm in much the way that he portrays my stance to GI.

Tape Wurm, I have spent many days convincing people that you are one of the best in our game, and I still believe it to be true, HOWEVER- When we come to town it won't be what you are used to (read: there are going to be competent magic players in the room). It seems like there is going to be a lot of pressure on Ben to perform at this event. Kowal, you've got us Hadley guys waiting to laugh, and Tape Wurm, you are trying to hold up that your recruiting skills are as good as your playing was 3 months ago. Wurmy- if this whole trash talking thread is going to be centered around Ben Kowal, then this is one PPV that I am not paying 34.95 to see.
